Review up soon

It was such a beautifully uniquely written story. I loved following Kya on her life adventure. Having been abandoned by her family and growing up as "the marsh girl" secluded from everyone in her little cabin across the marsh from the town. The way she learned from nature built strength and resilience and ultimately learned how to love. I enjoyed how she was able to learn and put her knowledge of the land to use to become a well educated aldut and a published writer. I thought each of her relationships with people from the town were beautifully developed. It was also a reminder of how destructive one can become through deception, hurt, and heartache. If you haven't read this one I would highly recommend reading it to find out the secrets that the Marsh holds.

Wow this book was amazing. I was sucked into the story right away and devoured it in a day because I couldn't put it down!

The story starts by being told alternating between mother, Clare and daughter, Abby then a third story joins in told by Jillian. The book is full of family secrets and drama with twists and turns along the way!

The story starts off with Claire a mother who passes along a genetic defect to her children, she had a son but he passed away due to the mitochondrial disease. Claire and her husband now long to have another and will go to extremes to make sure the baby is healthy. She discovers a doctor who is working with a scientist to create the perfect embryo from three genetic parents. However it is currently illegal to complete such a process. So Claire confronts the doctor about such process behind her husband's back. When he finds out is where it gets interesting. Claire goes on the run and into hiding 8 months pregnant. She ends up giving birth to "frankenbaby" raising her away from authorities until the child is 11 when even more craziness, twists and turns come. You'll have to read it yourself top find out what happens.

I thought the premise of the book was so interesting with the scientific aspects that you don't normally see in a thriller. I really felt for Claire, the mother, that lost her only child only to long for another and the despair she felt knowing she would pass along her genetic traits. I loved the crazy, obsessive, unethical female protagonist. It was a very interesting take on a thriller, I will definitely keep an eye out for Kira Peikoff in the future.

Review coming

This book was an interesting read, I found it a bit of a slow burn but overall enjoyed the book.
It's written in a very interesting format of group chat messages, online forum talks and texts brought forth through a multiple point of view prespective in 4 different parts. The story is filled with dysfunctional family, secrets, lies and some shocking surprises.
Missing Persons by @lorzwriting follows a bunch of websleuhers trying to solve missing person cases on an online forum called missing-linc.

Shaun a young gay man in Ireland who works at a bookshop and lives with his dog is grieving the loss of his mother. He discovers information from a stranger that his uncle Teddy, who he thought to have died in a car crash may actually still be alive. Shaun desperate to find his mothers favorite brother decides to look into it further and puts up a picture online and contacting missing-linc.

Missing-linc thinks that the picture resembles one of their missing person cases profiled on the site. The case of an unidentified Male body found in a pink dress. From here there is a bunch of investing and trying to discover what actually happened to the man in the pink dress and who committed such a crime.

I won't go into a lot of detail because I don't want to give anything away but if you want to know if it a serial killer or a sex crime? Or whether they ultimately find the murderer? You sound definitely read this book.

T.M.Logan has done it again with this outstanding novel. Such a thrilling smoothly written fast paced read that had me not wanting to put it down because I had to know what happened! I love Logans writing style and the seamless ways he develops his characters weather it be the newly single hard working mom or the jerk boss. This is definitely a book I'd recommend you read.

Her boss is a bit of a chauvinistic pig. One day as she's running late she takes a detour home in hopes that it will be faster. During this detour she witnessed an incident that will inevitably change her life. It is the repercussions of this incident that shape the rest of the story. It all changes with one phone call that last 29 seconds. Sarah chose this way to benefit her life, but will this decision be for the better or for the worse!

Being a mother myself I found this book put some humor and light into several issues you don't normally hear about in motherhood! Definitely a book I would suggest for new moms to know that you aren't alone, plus you might need a good laugh!

This was an interesting tale of a dementia stricken elderly women turned into a super hero grandmother trying to prove her sanity while taking down a care home. I did find this to be a rather slow burn. I also found it to be kind of a far fetched story.

The story follows Rose an elderly women living in a care home with dementia. One night she was found wondering in the woods and returned to the care home. Rose doesn't remember living here out why she is here but feels like she doesn't belong and they ate poisoning her. Rose comes up with a plan to escape the care home. As she comes out of the medical induced fog she is determined to prove she isn't crazy. She teams up with her granddaughter and her sister to try and figure out what this care home is all about. That's when the crazy adventure begins. When i say crazy I really mean insane adventure this grandmother endures to prove she's sane. The lengths the granddaughter goes to support her grandmother was very heartfelt. The ending was something I didn't see coming it was a whole lot of suspense and craziness compared to the slowness of the rest of the story.

This is one book that will leave you thinking could this really happen in real life?

One Night Gone by @beanglish a story of a small town secrets and scandal. What lengths would a small town go to, to keep their secrets hidden?

The story is told from two points of view in two differing timelines. I felt that the story was very well written with the two stories conecting cohesively. I really liked how the mystery panned out and how multi- layered it became at the end. Such a well written book that I really enjoyed reading.

Maureen dubbed as the summer girl came to the small town of Opal Beach with the traveling Carnival. She made friends with the locals. Her best friend Tammy helped her to get away from a horrendous boss and offered to help her with a place to stay. Maureen also became involved with the "rich" bishop son. Which may of been her first mistake, definitely not her last. As Maureen got deeper into the summer it seemed like her problems kept accumulating. Until one day she was gone without a trace. What ever happened to Maureen the summer girl? Did she simply just leave town or something more sinister?

Allison recently divorced looking for a new start ends up house sitting in the small vacation town of Opal Beach in the off season thanks to the help of her sister Annie. While here she befriends a local shop owner, Tammy who thinks Allison bears a similarity to her old friend who disappeared. As the women grow closer Allison helps Tammy dive deeper into the mysterious disappearance of her friend Maureen. Someone isn't happy that the past is being dug up. Allison starts getting packages and notes connected to Maureen. Allison may be in danger but how much? Will she find out what happened to Maureen and at what costs?
