Where the Crawdads Sing
by Delia Owens
It was such a beautifully uniquely written story. I loved following Kya on her life adventure. Having been abandoned by her family and growing up as "the marsh girl" secluded from everyone in her little cabin across the marsh from the town. The way she learned from nature built strength and resilience and ultimately learned how to love. I enjoyed how she was able to learn and put her knowledge of the land to use to become a well educated aldut and a published writer. I thought each of her relationships with people from the town were beautifully developed. It was also a reminder of how destructive one can become through deception, hurt, and heartache. If you haven't read this one I would highly recommend reading it to find out the secrets that the Marsh holds.
