I just love Tandy! Actually, I love all of the characters (except Uncle Pig). They play so well off each other and a lot of their interactions are downright hilarious! This book has quite a bit going on, with four different mysteries going on all at once, but it really worked. The stories were sort of chaotic, kinda like Tandy's brain!

I was not happy with this book. I had such high hopes, especially since I LOVED the first one. This book just made me mad.

When I first picked up this book I thought it was gonna be like the first one in that Tandy is trying to solve a murder. Well in some sense she is. Both the murder of her brothers girlfriend, and the murder of these girl around her age. But along the way since she is finally feeling emotions for the first time she is trying to pick up the pieces of the past she left behind, and to finally be able to see James again. I felt that this book centered to much around Tandy and James. There seemed to be very little detective work at all throughout the out, and I though there was suppose to be.

Also I could not stand Tandy, she reminded me to much of Max from one of James Patterson's other book, and I couldn't stand Max. That being said I did not like Tandy at all. It felt as if she thought she was better than everyone else, that she knew what she was talking about and the NYPD was just a bunch of fools.

All in all I did not like this book at all, and I'm not completely sure I'll be picking up the 3rd book in the series.

What an awesome second addition to the Confessions series!!!
I loved this one just as much as I did the first. Perhaps even more so!! I really enjoyed watching Tandy grow in her detective work. She can be so freaking smart!!!
Being off the pills has done wonders for Tandy!! I really feel like I'm getting to know the real her; the best Tandy she can be. And I am loving every piece of her that is revealed!
I can't wait to see what is in store for her and her family, as well as, now, she and James!!!!

this book is so amazing. it just keeps you on your feet the while way through. I love how Tandy talks straight to the reader and it feels like we're right by her side

This read like a first draft of a creative writing 101 assignment. It would have been nice if one plot line had been chosen and explored more deeply, but instead there were 4 or 5 unrelated plot lines that wandered in and out of importance. Mysteries were solved by happenstance, and I remain unconvinced that Tandy has any actual skills as a detective other than a little luck and good timing.

So much of this was just unbelievable. Tandy never actually seemed like someone worried about her brother on trial for murder, nor someone dealing with the aftermath of brain washing and emotion numbing vitamins (?!?).

I've never read anything else by James Patterson, but I have to assume that he's resting on his laurels here. It's as if he knows he doesn't need to try at all to get something published. I mean honestly, he actually wrote down a character named "Judge Mudge."

Really, this was just a juvenile and lazy attempt at storytelling.

I gave this three stars because to me it was just meh. I got most of the way through this book before I realized it was the second book in the series and not the first. Oops. Oh well, I don’t think that contributed to my lack of enjoyment of this book.

Why I didn’t enjoy this book:
1. They tried to do too much with the plot. Instead of one well thought out and twisted plot like I like to see in thrillers, this book had 4 mini plots that had nothing to do with each other and all felt flat and pointless. I kept waiting for them to tie in to each other and lead into one cohesive plot, but it never happened. Each were neatly and conveniently wrapped up and by the end of the book I was left wondering what the point was. I think the book would’ve been better had they focused on either the brothers trial or the possible serial killer plot line and explored it further and more in-depth.

2. Tandy was annoying to me and the other characters were flat. The relationships felt forced and I didn’t really care about any of the characters at all. Also, Tandy’s constant whining about her lost love got on my nerves.

3. The suspense just wasn’t there for me. I was expecting a thriller that kept me guessing and suspecting everyone, and I just didn’t get that. Again, I think this could’ve been better achieved if they had picked one plot line and explored it instead of 4 half baked plot lines.

Overall, I gave this three stars because I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t really like it either. It was just meh to me. It was probably more of a 2.5, but whatever. I will not be continuing the series.

Most definitely another #1 best seller, for James Patterson. I fell in love with Miss Tandy in Confessions #1 and book #2 only enhanced my feelings for this character. Tandy may only be 16 but she's heading for and amazing career in law enforcement, I can see her with her own PI business. She's got the smarts to pull it off. However I'd have to say that in this book I think my heart went out to Jacob!!! Time for a brand new life, in a new place with renewed love. I will be waiting impatiently for the next Confessions book...

I did like this book but couldn't give it gibe stars due to my own stupidity. I accidently read this book before I read the first one which caused me to be a bit confused when I read this one.
