I was a little late to the Jane Doe hype, but when I read it I loved it!

Needless to say I was ecastatic when I heard about Problem Child by Victoria Helen Stone, much like her other books it did not dissappoint. I get sucked right into her writing, the plot and characters make it one hell of a page turner that you can't put down! Stone has definitely done it again.

Jane is sarcastic, witty, intelligent, dirty character. She is proving that she is more than her childhood, by having a good job. She's more than her sociopath label, or is she?

Jane's always been different, and now she had discovered that her niece is described as being just like her, but what excately does that mean. Jane will have to find her missing neice to discover what everyone is talking about. The thrill of taking on finding her niece is excately what Jane needs in her life right now. Leaving behind her boyfriend, and a job she was just trying to advance in by taking down her partner, all normal sociopath things. Along the way we get to discover how Jane interacts and handles intense situations, her family that made her this way and even authority to get what she wants. Jane thrives when she gets what she wants, and Jane always gets what she wants. This new adventure of finding her neice thrills Jane right to the core, however will the ending be as Jane envisioned or has she finally gone too far.

This was definitely a fast paced thrilling read, I was so excited to dig a little deeper into Janes life and can't wait for a third installment to find out more on the creepy, mysterious neice that is Kayla. Especially with that last cliff hanger line in the book.

Wow this was am intense emotional read for me. It started as a rather slow burn but quickly turned into a nail biter of a book I could not put down. It got so intense so fast and I just needed to know what happened. The heroism of the main character was completely mind blowing to me, when she had nothing left to give, she still held on to hope. It was completely and utterly such a heartfelt story. It will definitely be one I recommend for years to come.

Wow! What an intense read. I went into this book completely blind. I was seeing it all over and the cover caught my attention. This book was Dark, full of emotion and such beautifully excuted around such a hard topic to speak about. It follows the love affair between a 15 year old and a teacher. You see the relationship evolve into get adult years, see her supporting this man as he's accused of doing horrific things to other underage girls. Vanessa stands her ground that he never hurt her or made her do anything she didn't want to. Such a hard read.

Wow this was an intense read that gave me all the feelings, with a shocker of an ending that had me in tears. This was a quick read, that I absolutely devoured because I just needed to know what everything meant, much like the main character. This book definitely made me think of the choices I make and how life could be completely different if I had made a different decision. It even made me revisit some dreams I recently had that I thought were odd, trying to figure out what exactly they were trying to tell me.

All her life Mia dreamed of being a mother, of having a child of her own, having just suffered her third miscarriage and finding out that her husband, Harrison, genetically are uncompatible to conceive might mean her dream never comes true. That's not all she's dreamed about, she's dreamed about a man she's never met, at various places and she feels such a strong connection to him. As if this couldn't possibly get anymore weird, Mia finds out Oliver also dreamed of her, nightmares to be excate where most of the time Mia dies. As Mia tries to come to terms with what meeting Oliver means, and her husband proclaiming he no longer wants a baby. She comes to a crossroads stay with her husband or experience life with Oliver. Mia makes her decision and sticks by it, and then right infront of her eyes the scene from her dream appears, the day that will forever change her life.

Wow what a hauntingly horrific story of unhealed greif, guilt, regret, feeling responsible, hopelessness and revenge. I was sucked right into the story from the start where we learn of something that happened in 1998. We are then taken to the present as the story unfolds and develops getting a glimpse back into 1998 every now and then as we discover what happened and why the grief is over powering the main character. Such an important read to discover why healing and letting go of past mistakes is necessary.

Something happened to Keifer, Frankies brother back in 1998. It haunts her everyday. Will she be able to heal and move on or will the alcohol she uses to dull and forget the pain be the death of her.
Frankie, wife, mother of two and the bear winner of the family has a lot to live for. A new job, a marriage that might be falling apart and the anniversary of her brother's accident 20 years ago paired with his 40th birthday. Frankie often wonders if she listened to her brother that night if things would be different. With new job comes many new opportunities, however Frankies husband doesn't seem so supportive. Frankie starts getting strange messages and weird things start to happen, she doesn't know who is behind them, but it becomes the ending point in her marriage. Frankie alone in her house with the kids the strange things escalate. Turns out Frankie isn't the only one consumed with guilt and regret from the night so long ago.

A fast paced suspenseful thrilling read that I would definitely recommend.

I found this one a little hard to get into at first as the first chapters vary in timelines and meeting multiple people I was unsure of what was going on.

I did find it to be an enjoyable read in the end it follows 4 sisters, one of which, only one month into her marriage finds out her husband has cheated on her with one if her sisters. It chronicles her trying to figure out what sister it was and she finds out much more along her investigation of which sister skerritt with her husband

Lovely Little Things started out kind of slow for me but as I discovered more of the story and characters It fell quickly into a page turner as I anxiously watched the story unfold. Told in multiple prespectives (one of my favorites) added to the overall feel of the book. You watch the separate journeys of the characters as there separate stories come together and drift apart and reunite at the end. A kidnapping that brings you into the pain, suffering ands grief that pulls parents apart, to the thriving and survival of a child, to the heroism of a stranger, this is one book you'll be wanting to add to your to be read pile if you haven't already read it.

Claire, mother of two studying to be a doctor suspects she's having an allergic reaction. With her husband at work she buckles her two young children into the car to seek medical assistance. Feeling nauseous she pulls into a gas station right up to the bathroom leaves the children in there car races into the bathroom. That's when Claire's life took a huge turn. The bathroom door shuts just as Claire passes out, when she awakens her car with her children are missing. One of the children, Lily, was found deceased by a passerby, Jay, that seemed to have a connection with Claire and the deceased Lily. What happened to the other child , Andrea? Something that stayts at the back of Claires mind always. She doesn't believe that the ashes of her dress but no bones was closure enough. Then one day years later a phone call changes everything.

Wow, last night I finished A Mother's Lie after devouring this 400 page book. It was definitely a page turner. I really enjoyed the writing style between Beth, the mother, and Dana, the daughter. The character development was outstanding.

A Mother's Lie was definitely a wild ride, full of lies, adventure, betrayal, love, strong bonds and full of nail biting twists and turns. It really protrayed how devastating lies between a parent and child can be.

The story follows Beth and her daughter Dana, as things from Beth's past start to come back into her life. As we watch Beth trying to navigate through lies as her life begins to unravel. Beth's con artist parents have returned to wreck havoc on their lives, and Dana's father is in way too deep. The past can no longer stay hidden and high stake adventures entail to life ands death situations. You find yourself guessing where the lie started or if it was ultimately the truth. One thing remained throughout the book and it was how strong the mother daughter bond remained.

A fast paced wonderfully heartwarming yet heartbreaking read. I really enjoyed the story, the characters and even the plot twist.
Really makes you ponder how much your life can change in five years.
