I liked this book, but I didn't love it...and I really didn't like the art style for issues #9-12.

There were glimpses of Captain Marvel's origin, but I still feel like I would like to read more of the early story. But there are rumors that the upcoming movie may be based on this particular run of Carol Danvers adventures. I'll probably continue this series at some point but it isn't high on my reading priority list.

Starts well, ends fairly well, but is broken up by a separate storyline in the middle that's part of an Marvel-wide series, and isn't even resolved. But still...good.

Sonuncu hikayeyi çok beğendim diğer 2 hikaye yine doldurma hikayeydi özellikle kara girdap mı neydi o bölüm doldurma bölümdü başka bir serinin 11. bölümüymüş neden bu ciltte yer verme gereği buldular açıkçası anlam veremedim.

I read this a little over a week ago and I honestly can't remember much about it. It was just that forgettable.

This might have been more enjoyable to fans that read all the other interconnecting comics, but since I'm not one of them, I couldn't get the full picture. It didn't make much sense to me so I lost interest pretty quickly.

I get that they were trying to wrap her story up and tie all the loose ends, but the plots were super boring to me.

This trade felt all over the place for me. I love Carol, but this collection was a jumbled mess, and the parts that I did follow, I wasn't emotionally invested in at all. Curious to see how things have shook out with the new team post-Secret Wars.

still very enjoyable, and i found the art in this volume particularly stunning. there were so many absolutely out of this world (ha - get it? because Captain Marvel is the intergalactic emissary for the Aveg--okay, I'm done) two page spreads accompanied by amazing classic-esk lettering and incredibly well thought out coloring.

visually: stunning

story-wise: not so stunning

I was overall very thrown by this. The first three issues are nice enough. There's a thin plot running through them (and when I say thin, I mean thiiinn) and they're good. But those last two issues I am very confused by. The last issue was clearly a way to wrap up this series of comics on Cap, but am I was reading it going AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHO THIS LADY IS AND/OR MOVED BY HER DEATH?
Spoilerand TBH I was really disappointed that we didn't see more of Rhodey/Danvers in the last issue as it was a) the last issue and b) her "coming home to Earth" issue
And issue #14 is clearly a part of some series that I don't follow, so I was skimming that issue, trying to grasp at anything I could understand.

Alis volat propriis, She flies with her own wings.
This volume concludes Captain Marvel's long-running battle with the space pirates, wraps up the stoyline that involves the refugee, Tic, and closes the subplot about Tracy Burke's battle with cancer.
SpoilerThere are some enemies even a cosmic superhero can't defeat.

Before the movie comes out, I wanted to get an idea of what this kickass character was capable of. And now? I think I'm even more excited for her movie!

My favourite Marvel hero these days. Live that this collected stories of her from other books and brought them all together. Now give me my damned movie already!!
