I liked this enough but I think i am getting to the point where Ryan has joined the authors that have a formula. This wasn't different from the rest of the series. Protagonist meets man, there is mucho attraction, they overcome and decide to jump in, they have hot sex, there is usually an illness/death (which I know she draws from personal experience) and then they live happily ever after not without the love and support of good family and good friends. Overall, it's a good enough read and I need some positive books in my life.

Great way to end this series. It is rare to like both characters in the relationship equally. She did that in all three books. Cannot say enough about this series. If you like contemporary romances with real world problems and adults dealing with them, this is for you!

I really like Kennedy Ryan’s writing style and the Skyland friends she’s created. I am reading these out of order and I did love the representation of caregiving and especially related to Alzheimer’s. The billionaire romance isn’t my favorite trope but it was still really employable.

I took my time with this read because I am so sad the Skyland series is over. When I tell you Hendrix’s story lives up to the hype please know it. Somehow Kennedy Ryan continues to tug at my heart strings with story elements so relatable. I’m a Virginia Beach native, my grandmother attended New Hope Baptist church, and her favorite hymn and one sung at her funeral was His Eye is On the Sparrow. Girl! Had to close the book right there lol. Without spoilers I absolutely enjoyed this read and all the ups and downs it showed. While it is a true romance it also lovingly tackled the love of family and other relationship dynamics. I truly wish I could read this again for the first time, 10/10!
