Kennedy Ryan has done it again! This was a page turner from beginning to end. I’m not the biggest romance reader but this right here is the definition of an uplifting romance between two successful people. If you’ve read the other books in the Skyland series, you’ll know that Hendrix has always been the spunky no nonsense type of person. In this book we get to see the softer, more vulnerable side of her and this is so refreshing!
Her relationship with Maverick is pure divine perfection. He didn’t come with tons of issues and drama which was greatly appreciated. I love the entire series and I give this a 4.75 for the book and audiobook. Thank you Kennedy Ryan for writing and sharing such a beautiful series!

Arg… man what a beautiful ending to a series. I love that Kennedy gives us romance and still brings in social commentary and so much heart. 

First of all the court case that happens is such a mirror to large issue we are currently dealing with and it’s out in a way where we know it’s part of a larger battle that has no current end in sight.

Secondly, the topic of Alzheimer’s is such a heavy one and as someone who has a grandma with a this disease, it tugged so closely to my heart. Kennedy Ryan does her research. The conversations and actions that took place surrounding this are things that I have personally experienced or have a family member who experiences and rawness of it is so heart breaking.

Thirdly… oh Maverick. What a man! This strong powerful human who uses his actions to show he feels and it’s beautiful. He knows what he wants and he goes for it. He shows his love and shows up. 

Finally the heart of this series is the friendship between these three women. The most beautiful friendship and it’s been the most wonderful journey with them. Love love love.
