I love this series. I’m sad this is the last book, but all good things come to an end at some point. But I can’t get enough of it (*wink, wink*).

This one started off differently than the previous books, and some aspects were harder to understand such as the business talk and her work with Zere. As far as the plot went, it wasn’t until roughly 23% that things started picking up for me. The growing romance between Hendrix and Maverick helped a lot with that. I also felt the sadness from the scenes depicting Alzheimer’s, both for Hendrix AND her mom.

Hendrix rolled with the punches, easily the boldest character in this trilogy. I loved the strong and ambitious vibes she gave off. She seemed unflappable, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t capable of feeling human emotions.

Maverick was compassionate, which was apparent the very night he and Hendrix met. He seemed pretty open from the get go, and I loved how easily they connected. He was more willing to take the risk of a relationship with Hendrix, I love a man who’s sure of himself.
