Part detective story to catch a serial killer who preys in young runaways and makes them disappear, part blind psychic who can see the final 18 seconds of someone's thoughts before they die. Intricate story with a neat but implausible ending. Quite gory.

My mind was blown away by Sherry Moore and Shuman. This book it's not your typical thriller. It's so much more. The feelings evoke can't be described. To know you have to read.

This is a very intriguing premise for a thriller, a blind woman with a psychic ability to read the last 18 seconds of a person's memory after they have died.
Some shortcuts were taken by the author to end the story, but not enough so to keep me from trying him again.
The psychic helps people with closure, helps archeologists find treasure, helps police find killers. One in particular is on the loose after being incarcerated for 30 years and is now 'rehabilitated' from his crime of driving a bus of teens off the road and killing them. He was running from the cops while under the influence of drugs and ran the busload of teens into a river. He went to prison, but no one knew the awful truth of what he and his depraved girlfriend have been up to, kidnapping and killing young girls.

Loved the plot and characters. Sad about the loss of a major character.

This is one of those booke where the writing and the action enabled me to suspend my disbelief long enough to fill in a couple of hours. It was a first novel and I'm going to give the second novel a go as well.

Sherry Moore is beautiful, blind, and psychic. Her gift, however, is that if she touches a dead person, she can see the last 18 seconds of that person's life. This skill makes her handy to the police, and Sherry joins Lieutenant Kelly O'Shaughnessy to find a vicious serial killer.

Earl Sykes, a psychopath with terminal cancer, is determined to cram as much death into his remaining days as possible.

Interesting premise and the story held my attention all the way through.

Very cheesy. If you like typical crime books where everything happens exactly how you think it will you’ll probably love it.
