I read this on wattpad just a couple of days ago and I loved it so much. So inspirational, so realistic, so moving. Lexie is so relatable, and everybody is fleshed out - I love how everybody has insecurities and fears, and Lexie's growth is just phenomenal.

I enjoyed this book, and definitely related to the emotional eating components, but there were parts that didn't quite sit right.
Lexie joins a Health and Happiness Club to try and lose weight. In theory, it's a great group for supporting each other, but the emphasis was always on weight. One week Lexie maintains and the host/mentor basically shrugs at her and tells her sometimes it happens. There's no info on what happens when you begin strength training and there didn't seem to be a measurement taken at any point.
Fortunately, Lexie had a good friend in Megan who actually understood how weight loss works and could help Lexie learn more.

it was great seeing Lexie grow as a person, though her motivations usually weren't the best.

I’m usually pretty leery when it comes to reading Wattpad stories.

Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I have a hard time connecting with books from a free website.

This one, however, was cute. It was predictable, had relatable lessons, and just a sweet book.

Would I pay money? No. That’s why I got it for free.

This book was excellent. Every woman has had thoughts voiced by Lexie. It also does a fantastic job of showing how food addiction is a real thing, and some people really struggle with it. Everyone should read this book to get inside the mind of someone working on facing emotional issues, because all of us have been there.

I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. It was extremely cheesy and sometimes mundane. However, based on where I currently am in life, it was very motivating and inspired me to make positive changes for myself. Any book that can do this deserves 5-stars.

I really wanted this to be somehow related to yoga, but only the yoga pants are mentioned. Anyhow, the story was wonderful and I was impressed by the outcome. It was a story of transformation and determination, even if the starting point is wrong. The flaws of the characters makes them believable.

This book made me understand things better, because I had the chance to read the thoughts that lead people to certain actions. In some ways it's difficult for me to understand how food can become such an important aspect in one's life, but considering all the layers of emotion and the lives we live, it becomes easier to see why and how this can happen. I rarely read books that take on this subject from this point of view. I feel even more motivated to improve myself now. It was a good lesson on body image, health, reasons and self-confidence. The romance was also quite nice and entertaining.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was an ebook I was sent after signing up for an ebook promotion of a number of authors. It stood out to me because of the title (I love yoga) and the relatability of the main character. As someone struggling with weight gain due to medication, I can sympathize with the struggle of balancing weight loss and enjoying a cheat day every once in a while. Lexie is an honest character who opens up to the reader quickly, even if she hesitates to open up to anyone else. Reading her story has helped me take another crack at refining my habits to develop a healthier routine.

From Bon Bons to Yoga Pants was a quick and entertaining read. It was the perfect before bed wind-down read during COVID-19 shelter in place orders. No grammar or spelling mistakes jumped off the page and the ebook formatting was done well – which was a welcome change to some of the other ebooks I’ve seen lately. The cover is adorable and matched the tone of the book perfectly. If you’re looking for a feel-good tale that will leave you uplifted and looking forward to your next trip to the gym, you’ll definitely want to give this a read!
