I enjoyed this book, and definitely related to the emotional eating components, but there were parts that didn't quite sit right.
Lexie joins a Health and Happiness Club to try and lose weight. In theory, it's a great group for supporting each other, but the emphasis was always on weight. One week Lexie maintains and the host/mentor basically shrugs at her and tells her sometimes it happens. There's no info on what happens when you begin strength training and there didn't seem to be a measurement taken at any point.
Fortunately, Lexie had a good friend in Megan who actually understood how weight loss works and could help Lexie learn more.

it was great seeing Lexie grow as a person, though her motivations usually weren't the best.
