I really wanted to love this book because a fat love interest isn't something I see often, but sadly her weight was most of her character, and the complete lack of communication skills just led to a storyline with one avoidable problem after the other. In the end, the love story was sweet but predictable.

The focus on the fan fic was way to much for me and made me cringe so many times. It really took away from the focus on the romance. Halfway the fan fic bit seems to slow down a bit, but the romance part of the book never took the spotlight. Very sad as I did like the focus on a plus size female lead!

I loved this book! The representation always amazing and although central to the main characters growth and coming up frequently it wasn’t the defining characteristic of her. Super fun concept as well. Would recommend.
