The idea was great and the MCs interesting with decent depth. The bummer was in the pacing (too fast!) and consequent lack of plot detail....

3 stars: 4 stars for the first half of the book. I liked the idea of the alien landing on earth and needing help. 2 stars for the last half of the book and the much-needed editing that didn't happen. Typos and grammar errors usually don't bother me, but there were too many to keep ignoring it. Overall, it was still a fun sci fi romance.

This started strong but dragged a bit in the end. Not SE's best, but it was the first volume. Judging by book 9, they get better.

Hmmm....how to rate this one. I really liked the story, although the editing (lack of) was terrible. I guess commas are expensive, can't add too many of them. And the girl was ridiculously stupid at times. And the villain on Earth was SO melodramatic. But I liked it, nevertheless! And I will be reading more of the series. So I guess 3.5 stars will do.

Okay, so it was interesting.. but also a hot mess at the same time.

Abducting Abby was just one of those books that was there, free on my audible, and was usable for a challenge (or two). SO I figure why the hell not and dove into books 1-4 rather quickly. It's super easy to devour an audiobook, or two, because you don't have to read certain things in a book and get annoyed. It doesn't mean that you don't get annoyed listening to books because trust me - it happens.

In this, you will meet Abby and Zoran. Honestly, they were okay but things just happened rather quickly for me. Definitely insta - everywhere in this series (so far). I was also intrigued by the guys because they are a dragon shifting alien type thing.

I will admit that I laughed on how these girls, especially Abby, was abducted. They did put up a little fight but they eventually caved in due to being horny. Besides all the smut happening before my ears, luckily not my eyes, they do face some danger.

In the end, it was a pretty quick book to dive into but it wasn't completely amazing.

I wanted to read something with Dragon Shifters and I loved this book. 3 golden stars.
Zoran King of the Valdier was captured by the Cruzian half prince and was tortured. He escapes and lands on a primitive planet. Earth. He calls to his brothers to help him. All in all he has four brothers.
Abby Tanner lives a secluded life on her mountain in California. She is happy with her life until on fateful morning, Bo the dog she is sitting for finds a golden spaceship in a meadow.
Abby rescues Zoran, his dragon and his symbiot. Ok this three way thing really confused me at the beginning but I got it. Abby takes care of Goldie (symbiot) and Zoran. Once he awakens they have communication difficulties but they still manage to communicate some things are the same everywhere.
Zoran mates with Abby. His symbiot loves her, so does his dragon and Zoran well that’s a given. Zoran’s dragon mates by breathing Dragon Fire in to Abby if she is her true mate she will survive. The chemistry between the two was great but Abby also had a problem with the town Sheriff. On her way back she is kidnapped by him but Cara, Ariel, Trisha and Carmen who were also on the plane tried to rescue her only they all got abducted to Valdier. The brothers meet their true mates as well.
S.E. Smith is one of my favorite authors and she has written several books with Serafin, Cruzian and Valdier warriors there is also a slight crossover.

Meh...
It wasn't terrible, but I don't think I can call it GOOD? I don't know. It had a lot of potential, but I'm not sure what wasn't quite there for me...
