Nah. It appears to be WAAAY TOO CHEESY for me. In all honesty, I am disappointed. It's too cliche and there's too much drama.. I just finished the book coz im not the type who do not finish one just because i do not like the plot. Mostly, this kind of book would took me 2-3 days but this one took me a week. My work has never been a hindrance because once i started reading a book and i like it, I'd choose it over my pile of paperwork..no matter how urgent it is, so yeah.. so far, this is the only book i've rated 1 star. Sorry Jenn Smith.

I first thought this would be a 200-page long high school couple break up fight, but it ended up being so much more than that. Yes, the first half of the book seems to prove that I'm right. But as you continue reading, it evolves into something more.

Jennifer E. Smith perfectly pinpoints the dilemma that most high school couples face when heading off to different colleges. I might not have been in a couple when I headed off to university, but I could relate to the characters so much! I didn't particularly like any of them, but I still related to what they were experiencing. As someone who will be heading off to the UK in a few weeks, I understand how hard goodbyes can be. And Jennifer E. Smith perfectly depicted it.

This book is poignant and full of raw emotions. It's beautifully written and will make you ache for the characters and what they are going through.

Sara Dessen perfectly sums up this book: "Over one epic evening, Jennifer E. Smith expertly captures every painful, perfect nuance of first love. I didn't want the night - or this book - to end."

This was a quick read, that had me reflecting back to that final summer before college. Even for those that weren’t leaving behind a boyfriend or girlfriend as they began their journey into adulthood, it was still something that speaks to that unsure teenager inside all of us.

It’s the last night of their high school selves before they leave for college, Clare and Aidan are struggling with that first love dilemma: should they stay together, should they break up? What’s the plan? Such adult choices for not-yet-adult people. It truly tugs in your heartstrings and that nostalgia inside blooms again and again.

It was sweet, emotional, and if you’re looking for a cozy, snowy read this winter — it’s a quick book to devour with a cup of tea on a comfy couch. Maybe with a pup to snuggle.

This book mostly annoyed me. I read it in a few hours and couldn't wait for the end. I think I would be happier to read what happens next. I still love Jennifer Smiths other books and will read what she writes next.
