i love the ideas and story of this series. everything ties up a bit too neatly at the end and over too soon.

I never enjoy endings or the last book in a series bc it's always rushed or predictable and plus I'm always in a rush to finish it.

Okay, this series was really good, but it felt like it ended far to quickly and far to easily. I love that Willa figures out what her father wanted her to find in Kansas City, I love that Willa was able to figure out how to save Chicago from the farmers that were coming to take over it. And while I truly love all of these features, everything was really rushed in the fast chapters of this series. So, while an excellent series, the ending wasn't as satisfying as I thought it could be.

I’m sad this storyline was only 3 volumes! I loved the premise of the plot and the artwork was just gorgeous, so colorful and full of life.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It tied up the story line decently and did a very good job doing so. As always, the art was lovely and the characters were great.
I admit the ending wasn't as strong as I expected it to be but it was nice to just have things finished.

Other reviews are accurate: This volume wrapped things up a little too quickly. There wasn't time for character development. New, very important, characters are introduced, and where one would expect tension, questioning past decisions, and a long road to acceptance, there is instead a lack of depth and nuance. Reading that this is being adapted to a film helped this make sense -- this is probably just serving as the outline of a screenplay, rather than getting to live and breathe as its own world. It's disappointing to see this series barely scratch the surface of a premise that started off so strong in Volume 1.

The pace is a little too quick. I kept feeling like I was missing something.

I’m actually really sad that this is the end of the series.

Honestly it’s one of those series which just starts to stretch it’s legs and then it’s finished.

A absolutely loved it. Solid characters, great world building and the illustrations are insanely good.
