Skyward, Vol. 3: Fix the World by Joe Henderson

3.0

Other reviews are accurate: This volume wrapped things up a little too quickly. There wasn't time for character development. New, very important, characters are introduced, and where one would expect tension, questioning past decisions, and a long road to acceptance, there is instead a lack of depth and nuance. Reading that this is being adapted to a film helped this make sense -- this is probably just serving as the outline of a screenplay, rather than getting to live and breathe as its own world. It's disappointing to see this series barely scratch the surface of a premise that started off so strong in Volume 1.
