The last book of my King's Day Haul and I had so much fun reading it! This was such a funny part in the series with were-wieners (yes, really and they can get quite evil, but thankfully a silver skewer helps), cute and helpful rats, a certain salad makes a reappearance, friendship, I was so proud of Danny throughout this story in many places and just wanted to give him a hug near the end, fun illustrations and a couple of comics, there is a lot more happening and it was a ride! I definitely want more of this series, so I guess soon-ish I will be getting a few more volumes~

My son is enjoying the Dragonbreath series. We are reading it together. It's ridiculously funny and silly.

I liked that the characters go to the library to look up Mythology. I didn’t finish this book.

This book is hysterical. I liked the frequent switch between standard chapter book format and graphics essential to the narrative of the story. I thought it was playful enough to keep voracious and reluctant readers amused. The tongue-in-cheek asides, such as which mother is easier to sneak out from under, were clever. I'm hesitant to call this one a short-list until I read Ninja Frogs, which I'm still on the hold list for at my public library.

It seems as if I deleted my picture of where I completed reading this book. I can assure you it was over a bagel and a cup of coffee, with the sound effects of Angry Birds in the background.

It was funny and weird book. Perfect for children and well as adults like me who loves silly stories. It was a fast read and quite enjoyable.

Hahaha! Were-wiener. My inner 10-year-old is super-delighted.

The protagonist of the book— a dragon— and his best friend— an iguana who has been bitten by a were-hot dog— recruit the ancient enemy of hot dogs— a sentient potato salad— to battle the alpha wurst.

This series is so fantastic.
