Thought this looked interesting. Borrowed it from a fellow Kindle user through BookLending.com.
Definitely different, but in a good way. At times I was unable to put the book/Kindle down!!

Very disappointed in this one. I've been plodding through, but there is way too much extraneous information that I feel takes away from the plot of the story - slowing it down greatly. I'm going to have to put this one down.
I've had this one for a while, finally getting into it. Not too bad so far, but I've barely cracked the surface. Have never read this author before, so I am looking forward to discovering his writing style.

Okay, it was okay overall, not that great so I'm hoping the movie came out better. It had its moments that grabbed me and held on, but they were few and far between. I didn't feel a real connection to the characters - it could be because of the pov it was written in which was first person present. It took a little getting used to. I had high hopes and walked away kind of disappointed.
Had this on my Amazon Wishlist, then saw the previews for the movie. Wanted to read the book before checking out the movie. Not too bad so far.

Really enjoyed this! I didn't feel lost with this being the 3rd book in the series and not having read the first two before it. I am glad we have more of them at work . . . plan on reading the rest!
Found this one in the school library. Looked interesting - let's give it a try!

Wow! This may have been short but it was HOT!!! Although it doesn't totally rival Rachel Vincent's Shifter Series, it comes in a close second! Plan on reading more in the series.
Although I did like this story I found it a little hard to get into as I didn't know it was part of a trilogy and had not previously connected with the characters. But even with that I was able to be drawn into the story - which kept me guessing all the way to the end!! Just the way I like it!!
Excellent - just as I remembered it!! Laughed out loud a couple of times with what Einstein had to "say". I did feel bad for The Outsider at the end. He did ask to be created the way he was, to hate his creators and all people because they reminded him of his creators.
I read this when I was in middle school (7th or 8th grade, can't remember which). Although I have read other Dean Koontz books, this one has always been my favorite. I am enjoying rereading this on my Kindle.

It was definitely different . . . I would have liked a little more back story involving the evolution of the Elites. They were apparently made to help save the world that the humans were destroying, but who were the original creators? And if the Jessica & Jacob dolls were the Elite's way of eradicating the humans, I would have liked a little more about them. Even though I enjoyed the story overall, every now and then I felt like something was missing or could have been better explained.
