It was quick - a short story that took maybe less than 10 minutes to read.

Interesting look into the world of lawyers. Although it was a true account and therefore nonfiction, it had a fiction ring to it that kept me hooked from beginning to end.

Wow! I think this was Baldacci's best Camel Club series book to date! I have always loved the Camel Club series, especially the character of Oliver Stone (John Carr) and this latest addition to the series had me on the edge of my seat and turning every page. I couldn't put it down! The twists and turns were eye popping all the way until the very end.

It was okay. It could have been faster paced and I didn't feel connected to the characters or the treasures they were seeking.

Another great installment in the Michael Bennett series! As I have been noticing with James Patterson books lately, the plot and pace has been slowed down enough for me to really enjoy the story. I enjoyed the interactions between Michael and Mary Catherine very much and was so glad to see him make the decision that was right for him and his family - and Emily wasn't it. The plot overall had a couple of nice twists all the way to the end. I look forward to seeing where Patterson takes Michael Bennett next!

I have to say that was pleasantly surprised. The first three books in the Maximum Ridie series were amazing, thrilling and page turning. The two after, Final Warning and Max were very disappointing - Patterson jumped on the global warming band wagon and I felt that was not an adequate story for these amazing kids. So I was a little apprehensive about Fang. It was great - back to the way the first three had been written! I enjoyed it fully, the change in dynamics of the flock and looking forward to see where the events of this novel takes them.

Okay, done with the reread and feel I can get into Angel without feeling confused in the beginning.

Well, I'm glad I didn't spend money on this one - I was able to borrow it on my Kindle. It was slow moving in the beginning. The pace didn't pick up until a little more than half way through and at the end I was left with more questions than answers, but at the same time, I don't want to find those answers by reading the sequel.

Before reading Foreign Influence I had read The Athena Project - so I had a feel for most of the women on the Athena team, but it was nice to see how well they worked with Scot with him as the main character. As usual, I enjoyed yet another Scot Harvath thriller. I did become a little confused that the momentum would be lost with Scot jumping around all over the place - from dealing with The Troll to joining up with the Athena team, but the flow and connections all worked out nicely. And I knew there was something up with Ashford and I have my suspicions about who he is taking orders from.

Wow! I just finished Angel and all I can say is . . . wow! Although I was starting to get a little annoyed at Max and her love life issues, I was glad when she decided to take Angel's advice and stop worrying about what everyone else is feeling and focus on what she is feeling. When Max started to do that, she became the kick-butt leader I have admired throughout this series.

Two lines stood out for me in this book: "Once spoken, words can't be unspoken." and "But at least Angel was still human enough to cry."

Originally, I thought this was the last Maximum Ride installment, so I was happy to see that in February 2012 there is at least one more: The End of Maximum Ride.

I have been hooked on this series since book one and although I feel sad that the series will come to an end, I am looking forward to seeing how it does all end.

Amazing! So much to say, I am going to have to come back and finish my review. But I am loving watching these three girls grow and mature on their journey!!
