I love dark romances, I like the plotlines and whatever but what is this??? The Heroine met the Hero when she was his student and they began an affair and he basically said he 'owns her forever' after leaving her because his wife found out and threatened to expose them.

The real story takes place 8 years later and you're telling me that this poor girl hasn't been with anybody because she was still 'owned' by him?

She's also now trying to help the 'Hero' get pregnant with his wife.

I did really like the writing and I did sorta enjoy some elements of the story but this is a hard pass for me.

I think I like this one even more than the first one! the angst, the tension, Bridget and Rhys were so interesting and hottttt

There's so many beautiful passages in this book but I cried so hard reading this and my heart goes out to anybody who's ever experienced this but man the writing, the characters, everything was heartbreaking and I don't wanna reccomend this because I know this will definitely be triggering for some readers but it's worth the read I'd say

Christian is my new favorite character even though I still love Nico from book one!

I'm so excited for book 3 I'm obsessed with this series

This was so fucking good, I loved the writing, the characters, the chemistry and just everything!

I was blushing 90% of this book and It's definitely a new favourite, I loved literally everything about this!

I really enjoyed this debut novel so much that I'm shocked it is a debut in the first place!

This story follows Dixie Wheeler who at 18 months old was the sole survivor of her family's tragedy. 20 years later she moves into her childhood home that was once a crime scene and begins to hear/see things and let me tell you...

I loved everything, like I think I'll think about this book all the time and I don't have anything bad to say about it except I wish there maybe were more creepy scenes but I liked the ending and just how the story unfolded.

It was gruesome, gory, violent, creepy, eerie and everything you'd want for the spooky season. I really loved how this author reveled everything in a satisfactory way as well.

Absolutely loved this, perfect for this season definitely a new favourite book
