I'm a loss for words for finishing this series.
I enjoyed the story as I did the other two books in the series but I felt as though this one had weird pace and an issue I had with Blood & Honey was that it was too rushed and while this book had a somewhat sad but satisfying ending I felt myself wanting more from the story.
I absolutely love Shelby Mahurin's writing and the story this series unfolded but I'm still so sad I didn't love this one.
I can't wait to see what Shelby Mahurin does next!

I love zombies, I think they''re so underrated and not all adaptations are good but this? Oh my lord, it was everything. It was spooky, emotional, science-y and overall such an exciting ride with no dull moments. I really felt for the characters and their journey. This book definitely helped me getting out of my reading slump.

I usually never like historical fiction but this was so good!
I really enjoyed the writing and how fleshed out the characters were. I liked reading about Vianne and Isabelle's relationship and how they both faced different things that helped others. The ending made me cry but it was definitely worth the read. I didn't give it the full 5 stars because I did find some parts very slow.

One of my all time favorite movies is slashers because they're usually really entertaining and have you rooting for the protagonist but this one fell so flat for me I'm so sad!
I read Grady Hendrix's other book 'My Best Friends Exorcism' and ultimately gave it three stars.
I just didn't care for any of the characters and the writing was just ok unfortunately.
