I finished this in just a few hours but it was a beautiful retelling of the Trojan War. I prefer Song of Achilles but this was good. 3.5⭐

Fredrick Bachman is a very talented writer but I had a really hard time reading this because it would switch perspective within a sentence and I felt like I was rereading the same sentence over again.

I don't think I'm going to continue the series but I do think this is a story to check out!

TW - rape, victim shaming, homophobia

3.5⭐

I really enjoyed how fast paced this story was, I liked the plot but the ending was just ok for me but the writing was great.

This follows an animatronic princess named Ana and she's being accused of killing a human boy that works at the park that made Ana.

It was a bit farfetched but it was an interesting book and I got through it in one day. Really interesting concept

This was a debut???

3.5⭐

I really enjoyed Zhu as the main character but tje writing was very dense which I'm not really a fan of but I really liked some parts but then not so much other parts and there was a section that made me wanna dnf but I'm glad I didn't and pulled through!

I am also in love with the cover

This one is tough for me to rate.

I enjoyed the authors previous book And Now She's Gone and gave that one 5 stars because I loved all the twists and turns but unfortunately, I didn't really click with this one, I did guess one of the biggerish plot twists and for that, I think I'll give this one a 3 star but I did really like the writing style

This was an ok thriller for me, I've only read The Arrangement from this author and enjoyed that one more so.

Spoilers

I didn't feel like anything really got solved, like there's the person who was watching Tarryn's camming and it does later get revealed it was one of her friends trying to scare her off the website but then when she comforts her about one of the messages calling Tarryn baby doll turns out it wasn't the friend but someone else and it's just irrelevant?

and the whole twist that it's Eli who orginally got people to egg their house all because he was frustrated/unhappy was kinda silly in my opinion

3.5⭐

This was an incredibly cute romcom but I didn't fall in love with it unfortunately. It's often compared to Jane The Virgin which is one of my favorite shows and I really did love the representation of the characters and how in some chapters it's Jasmine and Ashton's telenova show but something feels missing from this.
