rick riordan has done it again, writing an amazing book. i missed the original trio and this was so funny and good. i was actually laughing out loud, i think percy has become more unhinged than before and i love it. percabeth is so adorable as always.

john logan. he’s so hot. he’s so perfect. idk something about him makes me so head over heals in love with him. why is he so hot? is it bc he’s the only dark haired guy in the friend group? even though this book isn’t my favorite, john logan is one of my favorite off campus boys. i do think there are some things in this book that gave me second hand embarrassment and the writing was kind of cringey at some parts but it was still good. i hated the entire beginning part where he thought he liked hannah, that just was so awkward and upsetting for me to read. but i’m glad how everything turned out and how everything ended. logan is so hot i swear omg. grace is a queen though. idk if it’s because i was in a reading slump but this book was not as attention grabbing as the first book. but it was still good.

THEO MF BROOKS HE IS SO AHHHHHH he’s so hot he’s so hot and he’s so perfect he’s so perfect. literally this man had me blushing and giggling so hard like omg he’s so perfect.

the hockey team is so perfect as well dude they had me smiling so hard bc of how much they loved and cared about claire. like that’s is so fucking cute. they were so protective of her and they cared about her sm it just warmed my heart so much. the found family was so heartwarming and sweet and cute.

but i hated the sudden problems near the end. like bruh claire pissed me off when she just jumped to conclusions and didn’t even let theo explain?? also why wasn’t she telling theo anything to make him feel better?? like she decided she loved him but then didn’t talk to him for days and then he had to see her with chad?? like bruh maybe if you talked to him and told him where you were at and then talked to chad then there wouldn’t have been a mix up. it was lacking communication on her part and i was so annoyed. but then finally they talked it out and theo is so perfect i love him fr.

it’s so so good.
i guessed that tom was her dad the moment we met him at the diner.
also it’s another story where everything just works out no matter how ridiculous and easy it is but it’s alright i still enjoyed it.

this was so cute and so gahhh. garrett mf graham he is so. he has my heart he’s so ugh. he’s so funny and i love his teasing and everything about him. he’s so perfect and he is so understanding and i want him so bad.

i loved this book it was so entertaining and it got me out of my reading slump.

now with that said, there are some flaws. the writing, sometimes it was cringey and cliche and lowkey kind of wattpady in the sense of the problems that came up and the solutions made for them. like things just worked out so perfectly but tbh it was fun.

also hannah
i hated how she didn’t talk to garrett about his dad like girl, thank god garrett is smart and discovered that she was lying and didn’t believe him which was something that i loved.

in some ways it wasn’t cliche
like i thought garrett was going to either believe her or not believe her but still let her go, instead he didn’t believe her and didn’t let her move on bc he knew she was lying to him and etc. also i love how when garrett left, hannah chases after him and cleared things up and they got together,
like they were actually good at communicating
except for hannah for the last problem

also garrett never jumped to conclusions, he always asked and got information before deciding what to do. i loved it.

it was so good and the found family is so heartwarming like the entire hockey team to each other and also to hannah. like logan, tucker, and dean all care about hannah and it’s cute and i love it. overall i enjoyed reading it a lot.

stella and christian. mmm it was def a book. it was interesting and entertaining. def better than the first one but not as good as the third. i would say it’s a little better than the second one. i think the scenes in this book had much smoother transitions. it was interesting in the beginning and then a little over the half way mark, it just got repetitive and boring.

i relate to stella’s overthinking tendencies. but some of the things stella says are like ?? cringey?? and
she was so in denial of her feelings towards christian it got kind of annoying near the end but finally they kissed and stuff. though ngl their kiss was so random. like it felt so random and they didn’t even really react or acknowledge it and kind of went with it and that’s what threw me off. i didn’t even know if they actually kissed or if it was another brush of lips. their first brush of lips got more reaction than their actual kiss bc stella mentioned it so nonchalantly in the next chapter and i was like what.

also the stalker was so anticlimactic like who tf was julian. did we ever even meet him? i though it was gonna be that one worker who had the graveyard shift in the beginning or her manager. literally so so disappointing. i knew kage was gonna betray him tho.

christian harper, i have some opinions about him, for someone obsessed with stella and someone who keeps saying he’s going to kill people,
he barely kills anyone. he’s all bark. we’re always told that he’s dangerous and all these apparent rumors about him, even stella’s dad kept saying things about it but what tf were the rumors? that he kills people?? like bruh we barely even saw that happen. the most he did was threaten someone. but i did love the letter he wrote that was so cute.

there was so much plot in this book which i usually don’t mind but it just kept getting added and some of them turned to plot holes and i was like? also the fake dating was only like 10 short chapters. i was expecting more. another thing, the plot and structure of this was very predictable, ana always breaks her characters up no matter if they messed up or not and then they get back together and i’m just tired of it. show some variety. also the smut scenes are all the same in all her books essentially, i got tired of it by this book and i skipped over all the smut scenes except the first two.

but it was tolerable for the most part, it got boring after they got together and there was so much unnecessary detail. like this book could’ve been 200 pages shorter. maybe removing the amount of times stella described christian’s eyes as whiskey and the book would already be 50 pages shorter.

the other couple are cute in this book and i love their interactions and the little snippets of them and i think it was nice. i saw someone say that all men in ana huangs are the same and honestly that’s true except for josh. and someone else said that most of ana huangs books feel like books they’ve read before and it’s true. like it’s not bad but nothing life changing.

ik a lot of people dislike this book and josh and i thought i wasnt gonna enjoy it as well, tbh i did not want to read this book and was lowkey dreading it but unpopular opinion, this is my favorite book so far and i love josh.

he’s so. so.
he planned a bookstore scavenger hunt bruh that is so sweet and he ditched his trip to go to ohio with jules and he planned out her plane ticket and funeral home and hotel and everything
like wtf i’m crying that’s so sweet.

ik he messed up and said some shit but i think people need to understand that jules messed up first. like yes she was scared and that’s all valid but josh had a good point of her not trusting him when he told her he trusted her a lot. and then she went and betrayed josh the same way the other people he trusted did to him. this was after he told her he trusted her in a vulnerable moment. like yes his actions were wrong but it’s more justified than what alex did. why is josh getting so much hate when alex did worse than him. i’m a josh defender till i die.

also i feel bad for josh bc his best friend of seven years didn’t apologize to him and come to try and get his forgiveness until after he chased ava like what. i would be so pissed. but i’m glad they solved their issues bc alex and josh’s friendship is so funny and cute.

jules is just that woman. jules and josh are funny as well, their banter and insults have me laughing. but for an enemies to lovers i think they got over their enemy part rather quickly.  but i still enjoyed this book a lot, it was realistic and the most entertaining book so far.
