I feel like almost nothing happened, I didn’t get to know the characters very well, and the world building was meh. The smut might have been good had I gotten to know the characters and their relationships more, but everything felt like a set up for the second book. I’m not going to be reading the second, even with that cliffhanger

It dragged a little in the middle for me, but I thought this was amazingly written. Having Death as a narrator was such an interesting premise and gives a little extra commentary on the war, as children don’t usually have a full understanding of everything going on. Cried a lot at the end, which honestly should be expected from a book about Nazi Germany

This one was not my cup of tea, but I’m not a huge dark romance girlie. I prefer my sex with no blood or knives 😬. The other scenes weren’t bad at all, but almost everything with Diesel me out of it. Also the tattoo scenes were not great for me, just felt completely unrealistic.

It’s about what you would expect, to be honest. Yarn man appears, they’re horny for each other, she becomes not depressed and her life gets better. Don’t think too hard about it, haha. 

There are a lot of grammatical and spelling errors that could have been fixed with some more editing, but I got this book for free on a “Stuff Your Kindle Day,” so how mad can I really be about it? Not mad at all, lol
