How could I not give it five stars??

To start with, it was amazing. I was a bit confused in the beginning, as in what the hell is happening, but that was probably because I didn’t remember the blurb properly. But after sorting things out, it all made sense.

No to begin with cover, it is splendid! I mean just look at it, pause, and then think that it’s going to be an amazing read. Moving on to the title, well, there were plenty of secrets in here. I mean there were parts that were hidden up till the end and that too very beautifully. The love and the tragic that has been brought in here doesn’t appear to be an act, it gels well with the plot and the whole background of the story.

And how about you now? There’s more to you than meets the eye, Tansy Merriwether. You’ve lost something. I can see it in the way you move; the way you keep the world out.’

I was really glad that the suspense was maintained at least for more than half of the story. It didn’t appear as if the author had to do much work in progressing the story and it was being dragged. It appeared to be a natural.

Moving on to the characters, I don’t think there was anyone in here, well apart from one or two but I guess that’s kind of like a mandate (no fun if there isn’t one character that appears to be a stupid, idiot and blubbering mess), that I didn’t like. There were moments wherein I was annoyed by some of the characters but otherwise they were gems. I kind of appreciate that because it was like more than meets the eye, and at the same time being realistic.

At this point, I honestly don’t know what I am writing considering I don’t have much time, but it was a beautiful, emotional, sensitive and humorous read. Did I mention dogs? No? Then definitely sweet as well as cute!

Its paws churned the sand into gobbets which rained down around the retreating shape so it vanished in a shingly backwash as it bore down on the slender figure of the whippet at the waves’ edge, like Dennis the Menace in hot pursuit of a paddling Claudia Schiffer.

Oh... It was very lovely indeed. What's fun without a little festive romance?

Although, just like every single romance novel that I have read so far, there was this tension between the characters at the end. Surprisingly, I was anticipating for the most! I mean common, you know everything is going perfectly right, lovely and beautiful with amazing descriptions and a lovely setting and whose to think that there could possibly be any error? But I knew there would be. There's always is.

As I said, the setting was lovely. I could actually picture it all in my head and be like, 'I wanna go there, I wanna go there' on and on. I pretty much liked the characters as well. It was all pretty standard but at the same time familiar which made it enticing.

To be honest, it took me ages to get through it. Not because it wasn't interesting but you know, things get in way. But still I have read more than half of the book in almost a go and I cannot say that I didn't enjoy it.

Rating - 3.5/5

The only thing that I didn't like here was the fact that I couldn't feel the relationship between Alex and Darcy. I could feel it from Darcy's side but Alex? Not so much. Especially at the end. And I was left thinking there should've been more to it which there, frankly, wasn't. Still, a pleasurable read!

So, I have mixed feelings about this particular book. The writing style was alright but, well, Natalie was a bit too much for me. Though I could see her character development, the whole book was rather surrounded only on her. And honestly? I would have liked more about the side characters. It's hard when you have to give your total focus on only one character. Especially when you see that there are plenty of other characters too.

It talked about that fragile state during the transition to adulthood and coping up with self-esteem issues. There were instances when I really liked it and was in fact impressed. But unfortunately they weren't that many. Though I enjoyed reading it!

Oh, I absolutely loved it! The characters were truly amazing and relatable. And, the most important thing, there was a combination of indoor-sy and outdoor-sy person (I don't know if that's even a word).

Kate's a person who longs to publish a book in her own name except for ghost writing for famous personalities. Whereas, Trent being the CEO of his company along with a person who loves to be outdoors is juggling these aspects of his life. And did I mention, it's a second chance romance? Because that makes it all the more interesting.

I liked the way the story was narrated and the plot was definitely intriguing.

Well, can't say I was disappointed.

Fruit Punch Kisses follows the story of Mercy and Frank who have been neighbors since childhood. This trope is kind of the best one but what made it utterly beautiful was the way it was narrated. Boy, you can't compare to that. I was on the edge the whole time, anticipating what will happen next. And what got to me was these little surprises here and there.

I just realized why I hadn't any of the books by K. S. Thomas in so long. Because, every time I read one, I have to question myself whether I'll find such a beautiful story again.

Melissa is our protagonist who, as a dare from her best friend, applies as a contestant on her favourite reality TV show Love Trials. However what's interesting here is the fact that she's single but still got selected for the show. There she meets Ronan who's going to be her fake boyfriend for the show.

I do like reality TV show plots, although this is the second one that I have read so far. But I'm still undecided if you ask me to rate it on a scale of 1-10. Though, I seriously devoured it. Especially because of my excitement to see what's next. The chemistry between them could be seen easily inspite of the fact that it was kinda an insta-love story.

4.5 stars!

A heart lifting romance novel with just the right bit of comedy and passion.

Where do I begin? So, Brianna is a single mother living with her Great Aunt and Studying to become a Barrister while managing a job as a concierge at the resort. She doesn't have any time for romance in her life, especially when she hates men. Leo Davenport, a man who believes in enjoying life to the fullest and lives off the money provided by his extremely rich parents, has found that he will be disinherited if he doesn't start living as per the conditions sent by his father for six months.

Unlike the second book in the series, I guess there was something more in this particular book that appealed to me. The characters were relatable, and the plot was intriguing too. I enjoyed the sincerity and general playfulness surrounding this novel. There was also a positive character development. Definitely a good read!

4 Stars!!

This book had me confused, overwhelmed and hooked till the end.

Fran and Ollie meet for the first time during an interview, applying for the same job. And, it was a surprise for them when they got to know that they had both been recruited in Viral Hive. And with time they became best friends and work spouses from feeling unsure around each other. Truly, this seemed like a roller coaster ride.

From the start I had figured that the writing style was something I wasn't accustomed to. Not any major changes, but certain things here and there. And of course I had read the blurb and remembered it, so I was very excited to see where things were going. For sometime, I felt that it was stretching. Nothing major happened (and by that I mean the blurb) and I was on my toes. And then the moment arrived and I was utterly invested. Which actually made me realize that those first few pages were important for the story to have a mature base.

The characters were pretty amazing too. I mean apart from obvious dickheads, they were truly amazing. Fran's character, in a small summation, can be described as someone who's hard from inside but soft from inside. Ollie, on the other hand, was hard to pin down for me. He seemed someone who was clear about what he wanted but he made some crap decisions. And Fran and Ollie together? Obviously they were meant to be together from the beginning but, man, it was amazing and strenuous to watch them finally realize that.

The ending made me really emotional. And to be honest, although the book felt really long, at the end it was just worth it.

The story is mainly about Polly who is an aspiring photographer working as a matchmaker until things don't actually turn into her favour. She's struggling with money and her love life is non-existant. But then she finds a man whom she finds attractive but knows that nothing is going to work out between them, although she hopes.
Then we have Olly. Polly and Olly are technically rivals when it comes to business. She's always surprised when she sees new sides of this man.

To start with, I did like the whole concept of it and the ideas behind particular scenes. I do like the sound of Polly and Olly together. It's cute and amusing. And the cover is gorgeous too. But, I was disappointed in how the story was a bit dull. More like it wasn't happening too happening for me and I got bored a little. Most of all, there wasn't much conversation between Polly and Olly. And that's something which disappointed me, I would have liked to see more of them together. Apart from that, it was really good!
