Better than I expected. Loved reading about his life in Charleston SC and his time with Wendy Williams. He kept it real throughout the whole book. Also thanks Charlemagne for reminding me how amazing Nasty Song by Lil Rue was. I’ve had it on repeat and it was interesting to know he played a major part in getting that on the radio.

I grew up watching Sabrina The Teenage Witch with Melissa Joan Hart and reading about Sabrina in 1990s Archie comics and loved it growing up. I definitely loved this darker spin on the story. Salem is my favorite grumpy cat just like he was on the show. I hope Sabrina is about to locate her mother one day and that her father can get back to her somehow. I'm definitely going to read the rest of this series thanks to Hoopla Digital!

This book took me forever to finish. One being that I had to recheck it out numerous times on Overdrive because I'm a slow reader now a days. Another reason being that I stopped reading at one point when the cheating scandal went down. Yes I was salty. But this was a really good (and long) book. Kevin talked about his life living with his strict mother and how she set the foundation for him being a hard worker to this day. It was fun to see the long journey it took for him to get to where he is now. Kevin spilled all his tea when he came to his first wife Torrei. I like how he takes a lot of the blame for the marriage failing and doesn't sling her name in the dirt like I was expecting. He was real about his drinking and how he got a DUI one night and how that was a wake up call. Definitely a good read. I was one of those people who would be like "Damn, I wish Kevin Hart would sit his short ass down somewhere" but after reading this and knowing the struggles he went through to get to where he is now, he can stand up all he wants.

This hard headed pigeon does not want to take a bath. He's so smelly even the flies won't have anything to do with him. Then he FINALLY decides to take a bath and loves it. Loved this book. I've probably seen it a million times at the last library location I worked at but never read it. A few weeks ago while listening to The Read podcast a listener recommended someone read it to their boyfriend who didn't like bathing (lol) and I thought, hmmm let me read this because lately my 2 year old doesn't want to take baths. I read it to her and she loved it. So much so that we read it three times in a row. A book that my daughter and I enjoy and have fun reading gets all the stars. Now when she sees a pigeon she says it needs to take a bath.

I LOVED the illustrations. This was a fun book to count things with my 2 year old. We both liked trying to find the cat and dog on every page. I hollered when I think it was the uncles came to the house with greens and hamhocks, I yelled THESE MY PEOPLE! Beautiful book.

I grew up watching Sabrina The Teenage Witch with Melissa Joan Hart and reading about Sabrina in 1990s Archie comics and loved it growing up. I definitely loved this darker spin on the story. Salem is my favorite grumpy cat just like he was on the show. I was not expecting this to be as dark as it was but I loved every moment of it. That ending tho! I'm looking forward to the "Harvey not Harvey" storyline.

Great story of the cobras telling Salem how they became cobras and Salem telling them his story of how he was turned into a cat. He was definitely a douch as a human and I didn't feel bad for him but still love me some Salem.

Good backstory into Edward Spelling's life as a young boy and how great of a conjurer he was and how he was sent into witch limbo by his sisters who caught onto his witch scamming.

I am so so glad I listened to this on cd. Jenifer Lewis could read a car manual to me and it sound interesting AF. I absolutely love her! I love her honesty and candor on her sex addiction (oooh wee she slept with a lot of men!) and her battle with having bipolar disorder. Loved hearing her talk about her time on the set of Fresh Prince because that's what my earliest memory of her is. The loud mouthed Aunt Helen. She tells it how it is and doesn't hold back and I just love her for it. I recommend this to everyone.
