I am so so glad I listened to this on cd. Jenifer Lewis could read a car manual to me and it sound interesting AF. I absolutely love her! I love her honesty and candor on her sex addiction (oooh wee she slept with a lot of men!) and her battle with having bipolar disorder. Loved hearing her talk about her time on the set of Fresh Prince because that's what my earliest memory of her is. The loud mouthed Aunt Helen. She tells it how it is and doesn't hold back and I just love her for it. I recommend this to everyone.
This was funny as hell. I listened to it on audio and Tiffany was voicing it which made it even more funny. It was sad hearing about all of the things she's been through in her life. Her mother is mentally disabled due to a car crash and would beat on Tiffany and her father wasn't much in her life and when he was it was to have her buy him things and then he left again. She was also teased terribly as a child for having a wart on her forehead that looked like a horn and not having the best clothing. It was hard listening to her talk about some of these things but I'm happy she is on top and making tons of money now. Seriously, if I was her I would have told everyone that hurt me and talked shhh about me to kiss all my ass. That would have been the majority of the book. It was really hard to read about the domestic abuse she suffered from her ex husband who I learned is suing her and that some parts of the book may be exaggerated but still I'm sure what she went through was still horrible. One of the funniest parts in the book is of Tiffany talking about having sex with a disabled person. Ya'll have to hear this in her voice! I was at work literally having to choke back the laughs. I know she didn't mean to put Jada in a not so great light but I can't stand Jada Pinkett Smith now after reading about their relationship...I won't go into details but I felt some kind of way. I was low key waiting for her to say Will and Jada wanted to share her cause you know they freaky like that. The revenge story of one of her boyfriends was high class petty and I loved hearing that part. I know he is somewhere kicking his own ass that he messed up with her before she became famous. There is so much more I want to talk about but dammit read this book or listen to it on audio like I did. I wish Tiffany much more continued success. If anyone deserves it, it's her.
By the way LISTEN TO THE AUDIOBOOK. Tiffany sings a hilarious original song at the end.

This was surprisingly really really good. It had its cheesy moments but it is a book with zombies so you're bound to have a cheese factor in the mix. Leave it to Sabrina to be hard headed and help Jug Head bring his dead dog back to life. This book went left real quick after Hot Dog was brought back. Archie was the hero of the story. I still can't stand him tho because he can't decide who the hell he wants but that's another review. People were getting bit left and right. It was sad when Archie's dog put himself in harms way to save Archie. It was also sad when Archie had to kill his father after he turned.
I can't wait for volume 2 so I'll probably check out the individual issues from Hoopla Digital. I grew up on the Archie comics and still have a bunch of them somewhere in the garage from the 90s. I love this twist on the gang.

I listened to this on audio thanks to Hoopla Digital. Let me just say Red was a hot ass mess. Hearing how she was molested as a child and how her sorry ass mother turned a blind eye to it really shed light on why she was the way she was. All that lying, omg. I was rolling my eyes at her giving all that money to Q toward the end. Chile boo. She should have kept that money and driven off into the sun set. Over a mill and she'd be able to buy all new things instead of going back to the house where Bacon got a hold of her. You never win when you're dirty and I honestly can't wait to see what happens next.
I've always loved Stevie Nicks voice and Gypsy is somewhere on my top 30 list. I was excited to see this ordered at the library and decided to check it out on audio book and I'm glad I did. This goes into great detail of Stevie's life from birth until last year (2017). There was a lot I didn't know about her and Fleetwood Mac. One being that Lindsay Buckingham was absolute trash...pretty trash but trash nonetheless. He was abusive and liked to talk slick to the media but act scary when confronted and treated Stevie like crap. And Christine did black face sometime in the 70s (there are pics of this on the Internet) so she's on my trash list too. Stevie has been there and done that. I had no idea she married her best friends husband after her friend died. They didn't last long. A lot of Stevie's relationships didn't last long. Some people are just better by themselves. I'm glad she got help with her drug addiction. It was sad to hear Tom Petty's name mentioned so much since he died not long ago. I had no idea Stevie wrote "Don't Come Around Here No More." I liked their working relationship and I can't imagine how hurt Stevie was when he passed. This is a really good biography and it has me listening to some old FM and Stevie and watching a lot of old music videos.
This started off a bit slow but really picked up toward the end. I can't say I liked any of the main characters. Judy was a bitch in the beginning and a bitch in the end. Although I do hope there is a sequel with Judy not giving a damn and becoming a detective to spite Marlon who I also couldn't stand. I'd read that. I didn't like Shawn's weak ass either but he did step up at the end. I wasn't clear on why Judy was hating on Shawn at the end. He risked his life to save your ex friend/makeup artist/ aka the woman who slept with your husband when he really didn't have to. Also can we talk about Judy wanting to save Alexandria? If I put two and two together and realized the woman who screwed my man was kidnapped I'd be like "Girl Bye" *hangs up phone*. I did like Alex and hated it when he was killed but knew it was coming. Benny was smart but wasn't that smart in the end. I kind of feel like the ending was rushed.
Omar! You have to do a story with YellowGirl1! I wanted to know more about that character. Overall a solid book that kept me intrigued.

Quick and random thoughts on this volume as I read it a few days ago so it isn't as fresh in my mind.
This was another good volume. We get to see Dwight be salty af at Rick and attempt to call him out and fail lmaoo. Rick got him right together. Rick is still mourning Andrea and sleeping on her grave which is extremely sad and depressing but he seems to get it together a little bit toward the end. A new character is introduced named Princess and I love her. She's funny and quirky and just what is needed right now to break up the depressing mess. There's a lot of gay love in this volume which is cool. I hope Michonne and the gang are ok because they are held up at the end.
Maggie sat down with Rick and wanted to know why Rick didn't kill Negan by now and Rick gave some lame ass answer because he's lame so Negan left and is on his own now talking to himself. LOOK. I REFUSE to feel bad for Negan of all people but dammit I felt a tinge of sadness for him. Maggie found him and was going to kill him but then thought he wasn't even worth it. He was crying and very remorseful. Everyone is remorseful when they are no longer on top. I wonder what's going to happen to his character now that he's a bitch.
The graphic novel is still miles better than the show. Damn you Scott M. Gimple.

I enjoyed the graphics in this book and really appreciated that they included mothers who dance aka strip to take care of their kids. Mom's who have unconventional jobs need love too and work just as hard as us sitting behind computers all day. Well done.
Very cute story about Llama Llama going to school for the first time and missing his mama. He eventually starts having fun and then his mom comes and gets him. The message of the story is that mommies come back which low key made me choke up cause they sometimes don't. My daughter liked the pictures especially the pictures of Llama Llama playing at school. I'll revisit this book when she enters the school system because that will be a big change from her going to daycare.
YESSSS. Number 7 returns back to the gang as they are on the run trying to get away from the zombies. Betty is writing in her journal and thinking of her sister unsure of if she's alive or dead and we're shown glimpses of the past and how she met Archie and Veronica. We're also shown a small glimpse of Cheryl and her brothers life before the outbreak and it's very....incesty.
