I didn't like this as much as The Hunger Games but it was still a great read and kept me on the edge of my seat. If you are stressed out in life I'd recommend NOT reading this as it will make your mood worse...well it did for me anyway. In fact I plan on waiting a bit to read Mockingjay to recover. When a book makes you feel so many emotions it's a good thing but I'm just not ready for Mockingjay at the moment. On to something light and fluffy!

Beautiful portraits of babies. What more do you need?

Pictures of brown babies smiling. *ovaries exploding*

"There once was a dog named Hally, who lived with the Tosis family."

This book had me cracking up from the first page til the last! Hally has the funkiest breath imaginable and even has the skunks running for cover! The pictures in this book are HILARIOUS! For instance there is one scene where Hally the dog is breathing and the wall paper is curling, the fish is upside down in it's bowl dead and there is a picture of the Mona Lisa on the wall holding her nose. Also I love how Hally just looks so happy not knowing that her breath is knocking people out.

The family is about to give Hally away to a new family until her bad breath knocks out some burglars.

This is one book I can't wait to read to my future kid/kids!

I'm never throwing a pig a party! They want it all!

Pictures of cute puppies!

PUPPIES! AHHHHHHHH!

At the end of the book it tells you which breeds of puppies were used. My favorite being the labrador retriever. You can't go wrong having puppies in a children's book.

I had to read this twice because every time they said Owly at the end I kept thinking about Baby Owl. Blame it on me multitasking. This wasn't my favorite story but the illustrations are cute and Baby Owl is adorable holding onto Owly. I think the author has an awesome author picture.

This was cute. Wasn't my favorite but I could see myself reading it to my future kid(s).

Where's the beef? This was a sweet book about a child helping their mother make the soup. They did all sorts of fun things while waiting on the soup to finish like playing pretend. At the end of the book is a recipe for Snowy Day Vegetable Soup. This really made me hungry and if it wasn't so hot outside I'd get soup.
