The story really didn't have a plot. The book jumps like almost all the characters, and I got lost on who we are following. I didn't care for anyone. The other thing meanwhile I was explaining the events I noticed how generic the story was. It's the same medieval story with pretty prose. After that I just wanted to finish it. I expected more.

Ame este libro! Este fue un libro que te hace pausar, leer despacio. Aunque es un libro corto su pacing es bastante lento, pero nunca me molesto. En algunas ocasiones fue repetitivo pero creo que es con propósito. Trigger Warning, habla sobre pensamientos suicidas, se responsable con el libro. No romantiza la esquizofrenia pero si la describe con mucha conciencia y prosa. Ya para el final te encariñas con la protagonista, me hizo llorar!

Honestly I quite enjoyed the book. But I expected it more, I don't know what but it lacked something. I think the premise was very interesting but the author just brush the surface. I didn't like the final scene. Could've ended two chapters prior.

Tenía tanto potencial para desgarrarte el corazón. llevarte a un Puerto Rico de los 80s. Siento que el autor no supo como atraer otra generación para los 80s, sobre uso las referencias que la mayoría de ellas ni las captaba. Se que se suponía que me diera nostalgia pero entonces pienso que no soy la audiencia adecuada. Siguiente el personaje se sentía como dos diferentes personas, el poeta melódico, y el charro bellaco. Estiraba mucho lo que quería decir y repetía muchas veces su punto. Haciendo que el libro se sienta eterno. También el libro se vendo como algo que no es. Es un romance, un romance que no llega a ningún lado. Lo único que me encanto del libro es como se expresaba de su familia. Te hacia imaginar como tu verías a tus padres jóvenes o tus abuelos. Pero no hizo nada con ese tema. Es triste porque tiene potencial.

ustedes no entienden que odie el final! pero me encanto el libro, es que ese el final que no quería. Estuve interactuando con el libro todo el tiempo, encontrando las pistas y el foreshadowing. Me tuvo pegada tres días seguidos y ese final me la explotó. Razones de porqué no le di 5 de 5. El overuse de las marcas. hay marcas que hacen sentido en la historia pero muchas me sacaban. Lo otro es que mencionaba cosas y no indagaba más. y yo me quedaba con ganas de saber more del pueblo. algunos personajes debían estar más durante el libro, porque algunos al final salieron de la nada y sentí que era más por conveniencia. Okay necesito sacarlo so voy a spoiler. El plot twist de Istella siento que it was too much. Puedo comprarle que es Mila pero que la mamá la iba a vender por deudas de alcoholismo fue como que "what!" parece sacado de una escena de Wattpad. y quedarme con la duda del porque el pueblo mataba gente nunca lo dijo, solo tiro un "hasta luego" para dejarme saber que hay un segundo libro. Nada me encantó, solo estoy molesta.

I want it to dnf this book so bad. There were no plot. the author really just put characters talking, no descriptions of place, actions, feelings or anything. The characters were flawless and that made them very boring. I felt mislead with the blurb of the book. I finished the book because I want to support my local authors. That said, I think it had potential just needed it a little more work. One thing I can say, the dialog was very good and realistic.

Oh my God! I loved this book. Like I have never read Shakespeare and now I want to. It was a little predictable but done so well. Beautiful descriptions, I was so inmerse I could see the woods, the lake, hallways, the stage. The characters pulled at my strings. I'm sad that it ended

I felt it was kind of boring. Simply because the MC didn't do anything about her problems. You just see this person do all the wrong decisions and never listens to you but wants your advice (I have friends like that irl). It gets tiresome and I think that's what I felt with the MC. What I enjoyed about the book was the writing. It was beautiful and grotesque. Intimate and yet gritty. I could give another chance to the author for that reason.

Ambos son una colección de cuentos que en su totalidad estuvieron okay. Ambos libros le di 3 estrellas por la misma crítica. Mucho de ellos se finalizaron abruptamente y aunque fuesen micro cuentos era más un listado de lo sucedido. También algunos se sintieron que quería dar el choque, plot twist al final, pero no era suficiente "build up" para lograr lo que la autora quería. Eso si, sus historias más largas tenían mejor final y te conectabas con los personajes mejor. Los cuentos del segundo libro se nota un crecimiento de contar historias mejor que el primero.
