I really wanted to like this book. I thought the premise was a little silly and far fetched making for a nice light read… but it was mostly unpacking emotional baggage with a few sex scenes and fan fiction excerpts to break things up. I wouldn’t rule out the author in the future, but I’m not picking up the next book in the series any time soon. It just wasn’t my cup of tea.
