This seems to be a trend with me lately: I see a book, read the description, go in expecting one thing, and it’s all completely different. But in a good way.
I really loved River and Grayson’s dynamic and seeing all of the adventures that they got themselves into but I never expected to feel so emotional reading their individual struggles, both River’s abandonment issues and Grayson’s fear of death were really emotional to read and I felt like they were real people.
I will say that there were points that dragged on a bit and the ending did seem pretty rushed but overall I loved this book!

4.5 STARS!

“I can’t stop thinking about you. I wanted you that night and every single day since then. I have fought every single day not to grab you and make you mine.”

Age gap and forbidden romances are my guilty pleasure, which means as soon as I came across the blurb for this one, I needed it.

I'm proud to report I read this book in less than twenty-four hours -- which is a rarity for me now days. I then immediately jumped into a "re-read" with the audiobook. I loved River and Grayson that much! The spark between them, and that ever delicious slow burn that comes along with a story this complicated, had me glued to the pages. River is delicate, and at times, vulnerable. Yet she had moments of fight and grit when it came to the things or in this case, the person she wanted. Grayson on the other hand, fought to keep his feelings for River on lockdown. He was a broody guy, but that all began to melt away once he came to terms with his feelings and desires, succumbing to them, and then opening up to the possibilty of sharing a life with someone.

Entice was an addictive, slow burn romance full of emotion and sweet moments. This had everything I look for in the forbidden, and River and Grayson were characters I loved reading about. Also, if you enjoy audio then I highly suggest the audiobook for this one -- the narrators were fantastic!

Grayson Price and River.

Once again, Ava has gone and knocked it out the park and delivered an emotionally, angsty, all-consuming and addicted book that I couldn’t put down. I managed to devour this bad boy in a matter of hours, and now I’m paying for it with one hell of a book hangover.
But would I have it any other way? Definitely not. Ms. Harrison words have a way of pulling me in and keeping me tied down and as you read these words I can’t help but picture it all in my head playing out... and Entice was the exact same with as all her other books.
Her words flowed with ease, making it impossible to not fall in love with these characters.
River and Grayson story was one I don’t think I’ll forget any time soon.

Grayson has baggage. He’s a man who loves his family, but won’t let romance touch him, always keeping that out of reach and he’s got his reasons, in which I came to find out, he doesn’t do love, he doesn’t do romance but once River and himself are reunited. Feelings within him start to stir, and he finds himself feeling things for this woman that he never thought he’d feel.
Problem is, she’s his best friends little sister and that’s forbidden waters and then add in the age gap... But as much he fights these feelings, the stronger they’ll get.

River has loved and been smitten with Grayson since she was a kid, and now she 21 and of legal age, there is no stopping her from getting what she wants and what she wants is Grayson. River is a smart girl, she’s definitely more mature than most 21 year olds.

These two were drawn to each other, and they were hot as hell, the chemistry between the two bubbled, and this sexual tension could be cut with a knife and though it was a bit forbidden, it felt so right, I couldn’t help but cheer these two on, but it wasn’t as easy as being together. They had obstacles they had to take on. Things that would and could keep them apart...
But will they let them? Or will they give into this forbidden love and desire and be together?

Woah, what a book! It was captivating, addictive and insanely intense. I love taboo, and I love forbidden and this book was set on a fine line, and it was perfect!
The authors way of developing her characters and their personalities bouncing off of each other never ceases to amaze me. Grayson and River love story was just the same, these two were perfect, in every sense of word. They balanced each other out and bought out the good they have in themselves.

Pure perfection!
But I expected nothing less from Ava Harrison!

5 stars!

Wasn't amazing. Wasn't bad. Better than most age gap romances. Great writing.. Character development was weird. Also.. What's with the emotional baggage?

God, 20 pages in and the heroine is already crying. God. I hate that shit. I tried to push for a few more pages, but I'm increasingly just getting annoyed. H felt too immature, and the h was meh. I hate heroines who act like this.

This age gap story left me speechless, a phenomenal read, I thought it was difficult to raise the bar, but Ava Harrison knocked it out of the park. River and Greyson story is so deep, there are a lot of issues they have to overcome. All the layers are unveiled, Grayson a tortured man with so many issues going back to his childhood, River a confused girl with abandonment issues that makes some decisions she makes. The audiobook is phenomenal, narrated by Virginia Rose and Sebastian York, they portrayed each emotion perfectly.

This is a good book but starts off a little slow as we are waiting for things to happen between Grayson and River and they are both playing little games at the beginning. It grabs the readers attention but we are just waiting for the good stuff to begin!

I liked Grayson and knew he was extremely dedicated to his job which was why he wasn’t involved with anyone. He was so stuffy at the beginning and one that didn’t seem to have much fun. I loved the banter between him and his younger brother Jaxson but the two were always there for one another.

I really liked River as she was so vulnerable yet she knew what she wanted. I was so heartbroken for what she was going through with her mom not showing up and calling her and it was no wonder why she was insecure with everything going on with her dad and Kim. She was also smart which really showed at the end of the book.

There was so much chemistry between Grayson and River yet they were really walking a fine line as neither wanted their secret to get out yet River didn’t want to be Grayson’s dirty secret.

I was so mad at what Grayson and Jaxson discovered and how it was kept from River!!

The end was awesome and I was glad how everything came to light and how they overcame it all!! Hopefully we get a book from Jaxson soon!!
