A book that scratches many itches. It's a darn good murder mystery, one that's revealed bit by bit instead of being tossed in your face. (Spoiler: the accidental death at the beginning isn't.) Wonderful characters, Felix and Skipper and Calvin. Lots of laughs. And a happy ending. A really enjoyable read.

Loved it! It’s a book crying out to be adapted for tv.
Loving all these novels about older people/ younger people have dominated every genre for too long!

Hah! I loved this book. It had notes of the Thursday Murder Club and Anxious People all rolled into one. There were parts where I had to leave my bed because my chuckles were waking up my husband.
Felix Pink is an “exiteer” whose job it is to help those who want to pass away in peace after battles with chronic disease to do so with dignity. However his latest case goes awry and it soon turns out that he helped the wrong person die. Chaos and laughter ensue as he desperately tries to do the right thing and is constantly thwarted.
This book took the solemn topic of euthanasia and turned it into a riotous laugh while still somehow maintaining the dignity of the topic. I don’t know how she did it but I’m so glad she did.

Exit - Belinda Bauer
When Felix lets himself in to Number 3 Black Lane, he’s there to perform an act of kindness and charity: to keep a dying man company as he takes his final breath . . .
But just fifteen minutes later Felix is on the run from the police – after making the biggest mistake of his life.
Now his routine world is turned upside down as he tries to discover what went wrong, while staying one step ahead of the law.
Felix Pink and Amanda find themselves in the middle of a murder investigation after they accidentally assist the wrong man die. Aware of the repercussions of what he has done, Felix is more than happy to turn himself in for the murder, he just has a few things to take care of first.
Bauer introduces quite a few different characters within this book, from the young Amanda up to the elderly Skipper; each just seems to fit perfectly into the story.
The book is told from the perspective of Felix and Calvin, a young detective who is investigating the murder. This is a fantastic crime book, with many twists and a very surprising ending.

*audiobook* I expected this book to take me on an adventure, but I was more so in a maze. A book about an assisted suicide gone wrong sounded so intriguing to me; the idea being the main character was to be framed for murder because of it. I enjoyed the beginning and the end of the book... However, throughout the plotline there were many alternate storylines that seemed to make their way into the story, but didn't seem like they had much of a purpose to be there.
