I'm actually really enjoying this series. The characters aren't that complex, but the stories move fast and the adventure is unexpected and fresh.

I thought the book was pretty developed and I did enjoy it. I just wasn't interested in certain sections. Other than that, I' m definitely going to read Demons and Druids whenever I can buy it!

Fun follow up to The Dangerous Days of Daniel X -- Patterson's teen Alien hunter.

The classic superhero whose parents were killed vs. evil maniac villain. The idea that Daniel can do anything that he can imagine is too much and takes away from the already cliche plot.

I enjoyed the way that the book was written and the language used to describe many of the scenes but you really have to enjoy aliens who can do anything except that one thing that will let them win. An interesting idea and probably a good read for fantasy fanatics. I did appreciate the solution to the final drama but found it awkward when they re-instated everything exactly as it was in the beginning?

"A lone outlaw arrives in the beautiful city of Holliswood with a gruesome goal. He'll create chaos–and film the pandemonium for an audience back home. The destiny of the city and its inhabitants lies in Daniel X's hands. But this time, Daniel has created a secret weapon of his own. With the help of an all-star team, Daniel and his friends must face a villain with a taste for the kind of terror that usually lives safely in the movies."
