Definitely the best book I've read this year, and generally in a long, LONG time. Every single character is amazing, the action is heartpounding, the romance sweet as nectar. It's dark and gritty, bloody, and incredibly funny and smart in its dialogue. A book that I can not wait to reread times and times again.

What an amazing read, fully worth its five stars. Ryn is someone you root for the entire way and want to see grow. There is a great mix of seriousness with humor that keeps each page an interesting read. The action sequences are vivid and exciting while the romance is sweet and heartwarming. I have to add that there are some trigger warnings as the author does not skirt around certain subjects.
All in all I hope a sequel is still in the works and I will be avidly waiting for updates!

Ryn’s hands wrapped around Naomi’s shoulders, the only thing she knew to do, and she inhaled the citrus of her friend’s precious hair, a needed reminder: She’s still here. Still here, and I don’t need to fight her God to take her back.
