No spoilers, but WHAT A TERRIBLE AND FRUSTRATING ENDING. It was enjoyable, mostly, but then NOPE. I HAVE RAGE NOW.

No One Knows is definitely a page turner with twists and turns that left me wanting more. Aubrey has been mourning her husband since he disappeared five years ago. She knows he wouldn't just up and leave her and the wonderful life that they had together. And because of that fact, she knows something terrible must have happened to him.

And then she starts to hear things about her husband, things she can't believe. Bad things start happening to her and suddenly her life is in danger. After all this time, did she really know her husband at all? And is Aubrey really the women we think she is? It's hard to tell who and what is real anymore.

I thoroughly enjoyed No One Knows and loved being engrossed in the twisted and dangerous plot, and the ending I did not see coming.

Ok maybe 2.5. Would have been 3 or 3.5 easily except for the ending. What the...? I mean sometimes I don’t like endings and sometimes they come all tied up with a pretty bow but this was too much. Nope.

This one is a mystery through and through. There are no clues as to what is actually going on. The truth is revealed through layers of flashbacks. There is one big coincidence that had me shaking my head, but stranger things have happened in real life and I was able to let it be.

There are several secondary plot lines going on at once, but all are related in some way to the central story, so it isn't one of those books where you are wondering how it will all tie-in together. The story was well-told and the jumps back and forth in time were never confusing. It all made for an interesting read.

Long review, but no spoilers that aren't given in the books description.

Before I even read this book for book club, my pastors wife (who runs the book club), said to me "i know what you like in a book. I think you will love the suspense but hate the book."

She was spot on.

Good suspense. But i hated all the characters. All of them. The ending wasnt predictable, but it wasnt like Gone Girl shocking either.

Random rant: Basically Gone Girl ruined all other husband wife suspense mystery disappearing books. Like this one. If i had read this prior to Gone Girl, maybe I would have liked it. But this book was too copy cat and it failed.

Aubrey's childhood sweetheart never shows up to his best friends bachelor party. Five years later, without a trace of where he went, Tennessee declares him legally dead. Then all these strange men start popping into Aubrey's life.

Let me make a list of characters i hate: Aubrey, Daisy, Josh, Chase, Meghan

Let me make a list of characters i like: Tom

The book is called "No One Knows" and the description says Aubrey has dark secrets. So the whole time I am reading this book i don't really believe her.
Daisy is Professor Umbridges sister.
Josh, there always seemed something fishy about him when the book repeatedly says "Josh was the perfect husband since we were kids"
Chase's purpose was obviously written on who he was and the connection he has to Aubrey and Josh is quite obvious and unrealistic.
And Meghan is the character writers like to write into a story, trying to make her into a person everyone wishes they were. The cool girl who everyone loves that always knows the best thing to say and do. I hate those characters.

I like Tom, how he probably only stayed married to Daisy to protect Josh and Aubrey.

Love, love, love JT Ellison. This book kept me going the whole time. I kinda knew one part from the beginning but was totally shocked at the ending. Great twists.

When I was finding any excuse to read other books, I should've just given up then. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and didn't care for the story. Some of it was predictable, but I will admit the end threw me for a loop. Overall it was just an 'ok' read for me.

Entertaining

It was entertaining. At times, the story really gripped me. I also liked the way the story changed perspective. I wasn't crazy about the ending, though.

 ❐ Overall Rating 2½⭐ | Narration 😁 = Very Good
❐ Narrated by Teri Schnaubelt & Nick Podehl
❐ Mystery/Suspense/Thriller
❐ A twisted twist
❐ Cover 💙Love💙

I was really liking this book and then near the end, everything fell apart for me. She put a twist into the story and blew everything I’d listened to so far completely apart.

While each of the two narrators is actually quite phenomenal The narration was only just good. Basically, there are several POVs and it had a female for the female point of view's and a male for the male point of view's. It could’ve been better with different narrators for each particular character...but the way I feel about the ending may have made it a moot point.
