I liked the first book much more than this one, but this was still an entertaining read. While most of the scandal and intrigue did happen till the end of the book this was still very enjoyable. I look forward to picking up the last book in the series.

I had forgotten a lot of the things that happened in this book so it was fun to reread and slowly remember. Also her husband is just like actually the best.

Pretty good, similar in tone to the first, ending was a bit rushed as per usual

What a great follow up to Crazy Rich Asians. It was wilder and crazier and I just couldn't put it down. My only hiccup was how he tried to rationalize the poisoning, it lacked solid foot but it was a minor issue. Can't wait for book 3.

It's not a well written book. There's a lack of characterization and every person seems to lack depth or individuality. However, it is a fun read best enjoyed in the company of a beach or wine.
