This book had me in an absolute CHOKEHOLD. I can’t even begin to explain the feelings this book made me feel. I’ve NEVER cried while reading a book and this was the one to finally do it!!! Would reread 10x over. I will say, I thought it ended really nicely, so I’m unsure what the 3rd book will bring to the table. But I’m still super excited to read!

I really was questioning if I liked this series after the first book. I continued because I wanted answers. This book was far better than I anticipated. I was awestruck with Cecelias villian Era. I didn't love her niave and sweetheart character in the first book. But this little hellfire came back with vengeance. I didn't expect to cry. I didn't expect that I'd be emotionally invested but I bawled. I really don't know how or why there is another book. This felt complete.

This book emotionally wrecked me. I haven’t cried reading a book in a long time and this one has some serious tear jerker moments.

I am in physical, actual pain after reading this book. I cried quietly a few times. I’m so attached to the characters and now I have to buy the physical copies even tho I read it all on kindle. Sigh. Forever etched into my heart now.

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT

My heart it’s broken, it aches, it has been shattered all over the place. And guess what? I’m so grateful for it. Definitely this book series is one of my favorite of all times. Kate can twist my guts with her words and captive anyone.

The best stories aren’t for everyone but this one, it’s just for the best people out there.

Can you love more than one person at the same time? I believe so.

Can you stop loving someone that consumed your soul? Hopefully if it consumes it as this book, no.
Because there’s no way to explain the love that sparkles this story.

If golden could be melted, it would be named Exodus.
