First one was better pace wise. A lot was repeated at the start lf this book. Loved the ending though, don’t think there needs to be another book.

Listen, the way I started this book close to midnight directly after I finished Flock is a crime in and of itself. A girl had to be up at 6am for work the next day but could I sleep being just as confused as I was when I finished Flock? No, I refused

I needed answers and I should've known that Exodus would really only leave me feeling slightly less confused and pissed off.

Spoiler
Look, I went into this series because every. single. person. that has read this series gives its praises. So, I would like to apologize in advance for the not-so-positive review I will be leaving. I'm glad you love this series, but I still can't tell if I hated or loved it.

To say I was frustrated with this book would be an understatement. The constant back and forth was giving me a migraine. I wanted it to stop. Cece was mad because everyone kept her in the dark yet she kept coming back. Babe, you're better than this please if you want to leave so badly then leave. The part that made everyone ugly cry, I could see it coming before it happened. I knew it was going to happen and let's be real here, if Cecelia would've just let Dom speak for five seconds the story would've ended far differently. But what do I know?

I feel like I'm being too harsh, yet I still gave this book 4 stars. It's very confusing, I know, much like this book. It recieved 4 stars because while there were many things about this book that made me shout into the void, it still made me feel things. If a book can evoke so many emotions from me it deserves a high rating. The only reason it's not on my favorite's list is because I truly couldn't connect with the characters like I should have. The only one I liked was Dom and we all know what happens there.

This book just left me with far more questions than answers and the constant back and forth was unbearable. I'm glad to those of you that did enjoy this series, but don't think this book deserves the hype that it gets.

I’m really struggling to understand the mindset switch between who she loves in the first book to how we got here in the second.

Why?
