I won't like. I really like the twins. I like them a lot more in this book than I did in the movie. I especially liked the way they kept throwing fighting robots at Scott, and the fact that those weren't even the main point. Seeing him fighting robots in the background while the other characters have moments and lead their lives was fantastic.
I was there with him through the beginning, then somewhere in the middle it fell really flat for me. I forgot who he was even battling half the time. Then the end was kind of cool but it really just left me scratching my head thinking "really? that's all?" I guess I thought this book was going to start building up to some super kick ass climax but that's probably what the whole next book will be...?

At first I was all ehh, but then the end actually made me feel some things, so yay.
The penultimate Scott Pilgrim book fell a bit flat for me. I didn't laugh aloud, and the gloominess and carping attitudes of all of the characters in question really didn't do anything to move the story forward. Nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to the 6th and final volume.
I was feeling not as pumped about this series as everyone else seems to be, but I really liked this volume as it finally felt like Scott (and the plot) started developing.
