I LOVED Adalyn Grace's previous YA duology, so I was really excited for this one. Overall, I enjoyed the writing and the mystery. But. I found it super weird that Death had known her since she was a baby and been following her since then. Given that, I was hoping he'd just be a creepy mentor. Not the love interest.
Also, I was very disappointed that Signa didn't tell anyone the truth about Percy at the end. It felt cruel that everyone was going to keep hoping he'd come back—that they'd potentially spend the rest of their lives looking for him.

Graphic: Death and Death of parent
Moderate: Vomit and Murder
Minor: Fire/Fire injury and Gore

Infinity Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book left absolutely no crumbs. Murder mystery x Pride and Prejudice. Absolutely 10/10. Every character was cooked to perfection, the plot was at the climax from page 1, the TENSION WAS GIVING🌶️🌶️, the plot twists, the mystery, the setting, the concept, everything. Just perfection from start to finish. I would not change a single thing about it.

It was interesting, but overhyped so it became a bit of a let down. Will def read the second one tho
