I LOVED Adalyn Grace's previous YA duology, so I was really excited for this one. Overall, I enjoyed the writing and the mystery. But.
I found it super weird that Death had known her since she was a baby and been following her since then. Given that, I was hoping he'd just be a creepy mentor. Not the love interest.

Also, I was very disappointed that Signa didn't tell anyone the truth about Percy at the end. It felt cruel that everyone was going to keep hoping he'd come backā€”that they'd potentially spend the rest of their lives looking for him.
