I loved the first two books in this series but this final book was a huge let down in terms of how it was written. Rather than feeling like I was immersed in the story, this read more like a monotonous summary of events. The writing style was drastically different than the previous books. The dialogue felt like an afterthought and the entire story seemed rushed without being given a moment to breathe.

It's the final countdown!
Fallen Kings was a pretty good book to end the Seraphim Academy Series. In it you still have the same gang, but a couple of new friends or love interests. Now this book did the impossible, it made Callan grow a soul and feelings. I think I almost passed out when he actually apologized for something. Hot damn, get this guy a heart and hug ASAP!
Other than that, this did dish out some awesome reunions. As well as some betrayals. I mean, sorry not sorry but Grace was crazy. So glad to see her off to prison and I hope she loves it. Then there's the whole battle, which it did seem to fly by for me, but I was honestly so happy to see everyone working together. It wasn't just one person doing all the fighting or whatever. Team work makes the dream work baby.
In the end, I am actually really happy how this all turned out. So happy that I got to read them with my buddy Deanie!
