A faithful (almost without violating WotC copyright) rendition of the first balance arc. I like how rendered Griffin vs the players.

Normally I would stay far far away this publisher, but I just couldn't resist this book when I saw it. It just sounded too much fun, and I am so happy that I read it. It was funny, it didn't shy away from using certain language (and it fitted perfectly with the situations, sometimes you just need a curse), the spells were hilarious (especially Taako's). I just adored the characters. The chapters were fun (especially that one with a travel reel). I just laughed so so much, and with each passing page it got even more funny. The art was just awesome, that was one of the reasons why I got this book. I also loved seeing the GM pop up at times, hinting to things/helping them. Then there was the twist at the end with the revelation about the crackly sounds and what people were up to with the relics.

This was a lot of fun. A D&D campaign turned graphic novel. I'm looking forward to listening to the podcast it's based on.

How could this be anything other than amazing? The Art was phenomenal and I loved seeing these good boys on the page. And they managed to keep the extremely goofy spirit of all of them in every piece of art. We say the boys of their book tour for the rockport limited and I cannot wait to dig into it! It’s probably my favorite arc so I cannot wait to read my copy.

Everything the McElroys do is pure gold.
