Gives a great overview of both bands, not just in terms of their implied competition. The author is a bit harsh at times but I think that's sometimes necessary when you have live members controlling their legacy's image. The members of both bands are still human and we lose that sense when we continually put them on pedestals. I also think he is sometimes harsh to throw you off the scent of which band he prefers, which worked. I'd recommend this to anyone interested in the bands. Good, quick read.

3.5 stars. A nonfiction beach read. I really enjoyed the layout, research and fun the author had putting this together. The chapters are you areas and read really well, abs reinforce each other to pull the whole read together.

this was absolutely so hard to get through oh my god. ultimately what it comes down to is that I’m not interested in their agents or finances, I just want to know WHAT DRUGS THEY DID god

Aside from the music, a great look at the politics, business, and relationship between the two groups.

A short, easy read chronicling the relationship between the 1960's two biggest bands.

Very good book. Apparently I didn't know the history of The Beatles and the Stones. I learned a lot. Anyone who is a fan would like this book.
