I liked this one a lot more than After.
It was nice to see what was happening from both points of views and it really made me a lot more forgiving of Harry, sorry I mean 'Hardin'.
Both he and Tessa are unbelievably frustrating characters and I don't know who annoys me more, Hardin just can't stop messing up but it really feels like he's trying in this book which I can respect.
Tessa on the other hand is just getting annoying, she seems to be making up a whole new narrative in her head whenever she disagrees with Hardin and her dramatisation of everything is dumb. And she trusts Zed way too much when he is literally the worst character.
Their communication problems are so frustrating, I mean, I get that writers use this to create issues in relationships for drama in their stories but I just find it so unrealistic and stupid.
I read these on Wattpad so I know pretty much everything that's coming up but it's still nice to read it as an actual book, but I still have the peace of mind of knowing the ending. Takes away the anxiety and stress of it all a bit doesn't it?

I give it a 'navigating narcissism' out of ten.
Justice for Trevor.
Tessa is honestly the worst, and that's the only reason I can tolerate her constantly running back to Hardin because he's also the worst. Two awful people finding each other through this silly, little cosmos we call life. I guess there'd be something nice about that if I didn't hate them so much.
I still read the whole thing. Partially because I was enjoying myself, and partially because I hoped that despite knowing how books are written, Tessa would somehow end up with Trevor or Zeb and not the narcissistic abuser that is Hardin.
But while I did enjoy reading it, the constant fighting and making up gets a little tired by the end, and the last few times they fight, there are just no stakes because you know that those crazy kids are going to work it out in a couple pages. I'll be taking a break from the series, but just like Tessa, I will probably (and inadvisably) return to this toxic relationship.

If this next book of this series is a bunch of "will they, won't they"'s, I am going to lose it.
They are a really dysfunctional couple and neither one of them have the maturity to actually be in a relationship. I wish Tessa would tell Hardin to shove it up his ass and actually stick up for herself instead of crying every other chapter.

3,5 αστεράκια καλύτερο από το πρώτο! μου άρεσε που είχε και αφήγηση από την πλευρά του Χάρντιν!
I read this after watching the movie of the first book, and it was okay. It was frustrating to read at points, and I think the characters could have had better development. I probably won't read the next two books. I recommend this books for those who like complex relationships/erotica books.
