After We Collided by Anna Todd

2.0

I give it a 'navigating narcissism' out of ten.

Justice for Trevor.

Tessa is honestly the worst, and that's the only reason I can tolerate her constantly running back to Hardin because he's also the worst. Two awful people finding each other through this silly, little cosmos we call life. I guess there'd be something nice about that if I didn't hate them so much.

I still read the whole thing. Partially because I was enjoying myself, and partially because I hoped that despite knowing how books are written, Tessa would somehow end up with Trevor or Zeb and not the narcissistic abuser that is Hardin.

But while I did enjoy reading it, the constant fighting and making up gets a little tired by the end, and the last few times they fight, there are just no stakes because you know that those crazy kids are going to work it out in a couple pages. I'll be taking a break from the series, but just like Tessa, I will probably (and inadvisably) return to this toxic relationship.
