Het verhaal was niet echt diepgaand, het gaat van liefde naar ruzie en weer terug.

Was it good? No. Was it bad? Also no.
I really don't know how to describe this book. It was basically the same problem re-occurring every few chapters and I would be fine if every character in the book went and jumped off a bridge. Except Landon ofc.
It probably wasn't worth my time reading but I'm already this far into the series so why stop now?
It also probably doesn't deserve 3☆ but there were some moments that had me smiling like an idiot and some moments that had me sobbing.

I dunno why but I just love a toxic relationship read. But realistically if a guy constantly said he loved me and asked me if I'm gonna leave him I probably would

So. This book was possibly one of the worst books I've ever read. You may be wondering, okay? Why four stars? And that is because it's like eating something that you shouldn't be but you cannot stop, addictive.
Anna writes in such a way that you need to know what is happening and why.
Although a very long book, I have to give credit where it is due, she does it well.
To be honest, I, and many others, very much dislike the dynamic between the two characters, it's not healthy, Hardin is possessive and it's not in a cute way, it's absolutely disgusting.
Not only does he mentally, and at times physically harm her, but she seems to never learn that, so it's just lacking some character development for Tessa.
Overall, a book that was hard to put down, well done Anna.

Still toxic. Still reading.

They are so toxic and I hope young women reading this don’t think this is how love should be. It has a really dangerous message when it comes to relationships. I gave these books a chance because the movies intrigued me, but it was clear a lot of things were missing. Plus the book is always better than the movie, right?

Wrong.

The movies made Hardin likeable- damaged but redeemable, but in the book he is a terrible person and Tessa is naive and... just... awful as well.

There were so many moments were I stopped and said, “what the actual f-?!” out loud. The violence, aggression, cruelty, misogyny of Hardin and internalized misogyny of Tessa... it’s too much toxicity.

I literally wanted Tessa to be with anyone but him. Anyone.

To any teens or young women reading this- this is not a story of love. This is a story of toxic, controlling obsession. Please so do not use this as a compass for a happy, healthy relationship.

I am really enjoying this series! This book didn’t disappoint as I explored the true depths into Tessa and Hardin’s relationship. Even though it was just short of 700 pages it didn’t feel like it at all. I love how Hardin is finally allowing himself to love another person even though he lets his insecurities get the best of him. This book would have been five stars but it was just a bit repetitive but all being said it was amazing and I can’t wait to read the next one!

listen this shit is utter garbage but that ending has me curious so i guess i actually am gonna read the next mf book
