I could not finish this book! I got about 15% of the way through and didn’t like either of the main characters. The FMC has barely started college and is expected to be worldly and make good choices. The writing was okay, the characters meh. I picked this up because I LOVE the narrator Shane East and while his performance of the tortured MMC was great, not even he could make me keep listening.
Don't get me wrong, this series is terrible. But I love it so very much. I don't think I can stop smiling when I'm reading about these idiots. They are terrible people and this is a terrible relationship but man oh man is this book fun.
It's like reality TV if you could go into the head of a 19 year old moron. I don't know how else to explain it, but I love this adorably terrible trashy series.

It got too boring, the same things just keep happening over and over
wow ! that was just a lot lol - i thrived on that drama after my “break up.” it definitely distracted me. at the end it was getting drawn out and i was having trouble focusing but mehhh it was still pretty okay.
I can’t say I hate this series because that would be a lie. I don’t love it though. However, I enjoyed this book more so than I did the first one. And I think comparing this series to bag of really good salty bag of chips is in order. Like it’s addictive. As in you don’t want to eat more than what’s in your small bowl, but by the end of the day you’ve eaten the whole FAMILY SIZE bag.
Much like the first book, Tessa and Hardin are on again off again; I hate you but I can’t live without you. Now, Tessa doesn’t seem as uptight in the sequel, but she’s pretty close. She constantly jumps to conclusions, which is partially why her relationship is in shambles 24/7. And Hardin will most likely always be smashing something because he doesn’t know how to deal with his emotions. They both need serious counselling, but I think it was mentioned it never did Hardin any justice; however, I beg to differ. I think he didn’t care at the time and chose not to let it work for him.
What’s different in this sequel is the development. Tessa has some backbone, and Hardin isn’t as flat, he’s actually kind of funny.

A única coisa que justifica as 3 estrelas é que efetivamente livro após livro queremos saber o que vai acontecer. Mas já estou farta de ser começa - acaba constante.

I actually finished the book today ^^. I picked it up again faster than I thought I would. I‘m glad that Tessa seemed to get a bit stronger as a person, however my thoughts about the book haven‘t changed that much from the last review.

DNF, don‘t know when or if I‘ll finish this book. There were too many back and forths. The same conflicts seemed to repeat themselves and not get solved. Might finish it some time in the future though.
