No me creo que esta trilogía haya acabado... ¡Qué gran trilogía!
Menos acción pero más Penryn y Raffe, así que a mí me vale XD
Un final digno de tan gran historia.

Meh, YA post-apocalyptic romance with Angels filling in the role of romantic bad boy instead of vampires, werewolves, or whatever is currently trendy. What this tells me is that I have to stop trusting Kindle's recommendations.
Bardzo fajne. Podobało mi się najbardziej ze wszystkich tomów jednak czegoś mi tam brakowało. Jednak czas czytając tę książkę spędziłam świetnie.💞
The ending was a little... too wrapped up in a bow for my taste? Like everything resolved, but without answering the questions I actually wanted answered.
HOWEVER.
I AM HAPPY TO SAY THAT EE GAVE ME ALL THE SMOOCHES I WANTED. So overall, I'm pretty happy. hahahahahahaha
Now I just need someone to write some fluffy fanfic of these two so I can read those to satisfy my Raffe and Penryn hunger. :)

"Maybe they're sick of being nothing more than rats rummaging through the trash and running for their lives. Maybe they're ready to be human again, if only for an hour."
I have a lot of feelings about this book and they are all jumbled and messy, and it will be difficult to untangle them and spell them out in this review, but I will try.

This series is epic. I remember the impression Angelfall made on me and my excitement at finally getting my hands on World After (which was good but not as great as Angelfall). I went into End of Days with high expectations, which was perhaps my first mistake. Never go into books, especially final books, with high expectations. I mean, it was good. I was pacing the house reading the climax and smiling stupidly at Raffe and Penryn's hilarious banter. There are both old and new vibrant characters to laugh at and cry with, intense action scenes, and the dark and gritty world-building I've come to expect from Susan Ee. I just wanted it to be better.
Specifically, I wanted the middle to be better. The beginning picked up right where World After left off, which I was perfectly happy with. I desperately wanted to see how things between Raffe and Penryn would play out after flying away in a locust swarm led by Paige. There was a lot going on throughout the entire story, a lot of moving from enemy to friend to enemy to who-the-hell-knows-what-you-are, but for some reason, I really struggled with the middle.
It all was worth it, though, for, what I thought, was a pretty satisfying conclusion. I mean, yes, it probably could have been even more epic and was possibly a little too convenient, but I thought it was pretty perfect and exactly what the story needed. I'm extremely happy with how we ended on all fronts, from angel apocalypse to Rafryn romance to Penryn's messy family issues. Overall, it probably could have been better, but I think ended the way it needed to (at the very least). I will miss you, Pooky Bear... Someday, we may meet again... No, I'm not crying.

For those of you who have already read the book, a little bit more of my thoughts:
Spoiler
DAMN IT, I WANTED TO SEE MORE OF THE WATCHERS. What little we did see was hilarious and I almost wish they had come into the story sooner, like in World After. I mean, it's totally a final book event, going into someone's memory to retrieve the warriors we need to defeat Uriel once and for all, but they were just so damn hilarious. I WANT MORE OF THEM. Also, the whole memory thing was weirddd... I'm not sure how I feel about it. Again, a sort of convenient, random power that we didn't know we had just popping up out of nowhere? Almost like Susan Ee was like, oh hey, I clearly need the Watchers but how the hell am I supposed to get them out of the Pit--LET'S ADD MEMORY HOPPING.

This just kept going on and on, nothing was really surprising and how they ended up together was so annoying. He literally just gave up and said they will find Michael, like you couldn’t do that earlier?? You had a mission at the start of the book to help the angel world and now you just said oh well. For a girl that will die?? This makes no sense to me and was just a blah ending.
I’m over it.

This book got to be too much for me Felt the end was left too open ended and fast all at the same time
This was such a heart wrenching conclusion. I adore this trilogy and will forever be one of my favorites. I love the raw unfiltered emotion that Susan Ee writes onto her characters. I definitely recommend people to read this trilogy because it's so fast paced.
I would have preferred this to be 5 books long as it was originally planned because I would definitely want more Penryn and Raffe. The conclusion was good but for me it felt a little too rushed. I'm kinda sad that Raffe stayed with Penryn because eventually he's going to watch her grow old and die :(
I am so sadden that Raffe got his wings taken when he recently just got them back, that shit broke my heart. I am glad he can still fly and that his watchers stayed with him. I would love to have another book maybe 5 years in the future about how the world is doing after the Angels and how the Angels are doing with their politics. Also to see how Penryn is doing with Raffe and how their relationship is.
