So, I have to review this book as a whole in the trilogy.
Not going to lie, I read the entire trilogy in two days flat, but because I devoured it so quickly; and due to the fact that I had no wifi or cell service to do immediate reviews, some of the plot points and story lines are running together in my head. HOW IS THAT FOR A RUN ON SENTENCE!?
MOVING ON:
This was a very addicting read. I was hooked very early. While I figured that Penryn and Raffe would end up having some sort of slow burn romance early on in this series, some of the later twists that this trilogy were really unexpected!
Penryn & the End of Days trilogy is far more than your average fallen angels romance novel. It has a sci-fi twist that I did NOT see coming. It is a post apocalyptic dystopian action packed series that took me by surprise!
The slow burn was excellent though. Boy oh boy. It was a perfect YA slow burn.
The first two books were exciting and different enough to keep me interested, but they were lacking a little something. I still can’t decided exactly what it was that they were missing, but they were missing it. The third book though was my favorite of the bunch. End of Days was funnier than its predecessors, it had more action, and all the little twists and open ends were being tied up in a satisfying way.
The ending of End of Days (and of the series for that matter) was really the best ending I could have asked for. It did not come out of left field, it wasn’t tied up in a nice neat bow, but no one had to sacrifice anything in order to be together. It was a happy ending, but not a sappy ending.
It was well done!
I would definitely recommend these novels to anyone looking for an easy weekend read. Someone who loves sci-fi or apocalyptic novels. Or a young reader who might be looking for something a little different from the usual angsty teen romance novel

Sen 4 yıl bekle, bi gecede bitir. :D Güzeldi, hem de çok güzeldi. Gözlerim hafif nemli, dudaklarımda gülümsemeyle kapattım bu seriyi. Okumadıysanız, hala geç sayılmaz.
Short Review: I LOVE THIS SERIES
This is the perfect conclusion for the series. Do I have more questions? Yes. I could literally read an entire other trilogy devoted to these characters. I will be stalking ALL of the fanfiction. Even though the story ends, it’s not a happily ever after. Sacrifices are made, but not to the level of SOME YA dystopian’s which shall remain nameless.
I can NOT recommend this story or these characters enough. I borrowed the books from the library but I see now I’m going to have to buy my own copies because these will join the ranks of the books I constantly reread.

Okay, so there was so much going on in this book it got somewhat confusing. Also..I have kind of an ick factor thing going on with Penryn and Rafe. I do like that the ending didn't resolve everything and wrap it up in a shiny bow, but showed humanity and other "beings" moving forward and forging a new "normal".
I ended up reading this twice, and I am still torn about it. On one hand, I enjoyed a lot of what was in the book. There were some great moments of humanity, a few bits of humor to add a touch of levity to the apocalypse, and resolutions to some of the major questions brought up by the earlier books. On the other, there just seems to be some missing pieces, especially in fully building up the same emotional impact as the previous two books. In a way, it felt a bit like reading sections that were outlines that hadn't been fully fleshed out. Overall, I still liked it, but it didn't pack quite the same punch as the previous two.
Enjoyable finale with a grand battle preceded by a minor detour into Hell. A series which is good fun, if not the most intellectually challenging!
WHY ARE YOU NOT HITTING ME IN THE EMOTIONS?
All that to say ... I still love this series. Love Raffe. And LOVE Penryn.
Spoiler
It's strange that this book gave me all the plot points I wanted, but very little of the emotional markers I expected. The end of Angelfall is POTENT, and this was everything I wanted, but was weak. I almost would have settled for a less happy ending but a more gut wrenching one. I don't understand ... was Ee rushed? Ahhhhh. I'm sad.All that to say ... I still love this series. Love Raffe. And LOVE Penryn.
I have a LOT to say about this book, but to do so would mean lots and lots of spoilers. I don't want to do that so I will keep this short.
As a book from the Penryn and End of Days series this is excellent. There's a lot of action, fun, romance and heartbreaking moments. A surprising background story for one of the characters that had me in tears until the very end of the book, the introduction of some we knew about but now we got to finally meet, and there are lots of answers.
But at the same time, as the final book of a trilogy, there are so things that are left unanswered. This kind of bother me, not much but enough to mention it. I don't know, I thought we would get more information -for example- about Penryn's mother and how does the know certain things.
I know this was supposedly to be more than a trilogy and there are rumors that we will get more books from this world but from another POV. If that's true, perhaps that's where some of the answers I wanted are?
Anyway, I am really happy about how Penryn's story ended and to have such a badass leading lady out there in the world. I want Penryn on my corner when the World ends.
A must read!

This one was harder to get through than the previous books in the series. Plus the ending was disappointing
